Where is my double XP event!

XP will always be there and has only gotten easier to obtain with added bonuses during catches and the massive amount awarded from raids, and is truly not that important since there is a level cap and mon effectiveness has such diminishing returns at higher levels.
Candy, and even more so, stardust, are far more welcome additions for events.

I doubt that is gonna happen, 40 larvitar candies for a Tyranitar plus pinap...likely 26 candies again

They specifically said double candy for catching so it will be 40. Last time the wording was vague.

I'm glad that my strategy of holding on all the special 2k eggs from the previous event has worked fine. Now I need to turn lucky and hatch a couple of larvitar and Chansey instead of slowbro and tyrogue :)
