Tyranitar Legacy Moveset Rumors
Like many I'm sure pretty much all my higher level Tyranitar have B/C, mainly for Alakazam solo raids and Mewtwo at some point. Are you going to spend TM to try for a few with Stone Edge in case it becomes legacy or leave B/C alone??

I didn't down vote, but I think Mewtwo Shadow Ball and Tyranitar Crunch have different roles against non-FB Alakazam. In American Football the Mewtwo would rush the quarterback, the Crunch Tyranitars would do much of the rest of the battle. IMO Mewtwo replaces and is better than Alakazam+Gengar against an Alakazam or Gengar raid boss. However if you bring Mewtwo to level 38, it will fully replace most things that were only at level 30.
I'd leave B/C alone. If SE becomes legacy, no biggie. I have only one TTar, 98%IV, came with Bite/Fire Blast, and I CTM'd it and got SE. I'd try for Crunch if I had enough TMs, but I don't (free player).
Now, if they added a Rock quick attack, then SE with that would be worth a lot. But right now, B/C is the bees knees, and if one of those moves gets legacied, you'll be delighted to have every single one of them with B/C.
If you're really worried about that, farm raids until you get a few with decent IVs and SE. You don't have to power them up. If SE becomes legacy, then you have the option to power those guys (or gals) up. Best insurance is in numbers. And of course, if they give T-Tar a better move than B/C, you can either farm for it, or TM to it.
As an aside, if they make Rhydon's Megahorn attack a legacy, well, I'm all set in that department. Of my first 9, two had Earthquake, and 7 had Megahorn. Thought I was cursed or something.
i can't see OP as being more than speculation and trying to reference rumours you are trying to start yourself but all my ttars use b/c and i'd not be upset if anything else gets legacy - like gyrados & dragonite they are double weak so naff on defence so focus on their best attack typing (in this case dark) is best use for one.
SE is a great move attack or defence but with rhydons and golems abound a ttar is best sticking to dark unless you have more than a half dozen maxed IMO
I would be surprised if Crunch remains. I think Stone Edge might remain, but Crunch isn't a good enough move for the game's premier dark attacker, so I would like to see Tyranitar get a really powerful dark charge move. Maybe they'll add Brutal Swing or Torment to the game as a 100 to 120 damage move. He needs a move on par with Future Sight, Outrage, Overheat, Hydro Pump and other charge moves with one shot knockout power. Bite might be replaced by Snarl as a fast move also.
So I wouldn't worry about getting more of the current movesets because I expect Tyranitar will get vastly superior ones.
