Legacy movesets after generation 2
Yo,
I am really unsure about preparation for next generation moveset changes. Like some others I think only ghost types will be added and after time rest. Last time moveset changes was made after full relase,not baby pokemon event stage, so because of it, solely for profit maximiziation from halloween event I think is worth to wait for event (probably double candy?). What is your opinion in the matter? Is it worth to take a risk - namely losing some future legacy moves?

I already TM'ed to all movesets which are in speculation for becoming legacy and I also made one more evolution because I had a high IV pokémon of that kind. I'd say do it soon because maybe Halloween is Gen III time. The cries have been added, that sounds like Gen III is coming very soon. Halloween might be teasers, but it might also be all of Gen III. I would recommend getting what you can get (reasonably, not at any cost).
I was just now typing a question related to this. Is there a place where there is a list of future legacy move possibilities? If it was in one place (even here) it would be great to prepare. I have read a couple here and there, like outrage or dazzling gleam, etc. and I know there are more that was mentioned. TIA
Not that I know of, I can tell you what I gathered here on the Q&A: Bite on Tyranitar, DG on Blissey, Dragonite Outrage/Hurricane, Bite on Gyarados, Machamp DP and CC.
I also went for all best movesets on all legendaries apart from Suicune (who cares) and Raikou (don't have one) ( I have no reason to think they will become legacy, but better safe than sorry.)
Maybe I will also add Foul Play on Hounddoom.
so far there have been no new moves added to the apk that anyone has seen so they might move around some existing moves but I don't think a lot is going to happen.
They main thing i would say is don't tm away all your B grade moves you never know when yesterdays trash becomes tomorrows treasure (the perfect example being confusion on exeggutor which was the B move in gen 1)
it would be nice though if events would sometimes include the chance to obtain legacy moves.
Yes, this. Or a rare special item, like an 'ancient TM' that lets you get a legacy move if there is one, and otherwise acts like a regular TM. Shadow Claw on Gengar, anyone? Rock throw on Omanyte?
But the important changes in G3 will be on the important mon. Something may change for any of the biggies, D-nite, T-tar, Gary, Eggy, Rhydon, as well as the legendaries, Machamp, Zam, etc.
Personally, I worry about losing B/C T-Tar, and getting a rock QM and something else stupid to replace Iron Tail.
