Suicune with water hidden power

Hidden Power (Water) has identical DPS and EPS to Water Gun, though Water Gun's cooldown is shorter meaning dodging is easier, if you use dodging.

When comparing to Vaporeon, Vaporeon is clearly better in most ways. However, Suicune has a massive Defense advantage over Vaporeon (at the expense of MUCH less HP), meaning in some cases Suicune might be more potion efficient or fare similarly to Vaporeon against Pokemon with fast, weak quick moves.

Congrats, you've got the best quick move for Suicune. Water Hidden Power gets STAB, has the PERFECT cool down of exactly 1.5 seconds (perfect for 1 hit-dodge attack rhythm), and has a decent energy-gain rate.

It will feel as if hitting mon weak to water like a little truck. Think of it as a slightly smaller version of Confusion on Exeggcutor.

If you already have some Vaporeons powered up, there is unfortunately not much advantage to power up Suicune.

You could, but I wouldn't. Given how many uses their are for dust and rare candies, a vaporeon that you already have or a high level eevee is a MUCH better investment for the same (if not better) performance.

It is more or less like gaining 20% in Suicune’s attack stat. More useful than a 100% one without stab.

I have a Suicune with Water hidden power and the exact same IVs!
