That was close. I wonder why he switched pokemons before they faint, is that faster than the fainting animation?
If they added a maxed mewtwo with some dodging he could give them the edge.

An even closer 3 man attempt (with a maxed out Mewtwo): https://youtu.be/b4_FKCieod8

I feel it's pretty irresponsible to make a statement like that. All of them are legit players.

To give you a little bit of the background (I know who these three players are) - two of them were from Chicago, and the third one flew from Vegas to Chicago and those three spent the entire weekend, 2 full days trying to three man Raikou. Over 50 attempts and this was the closest one - they all decided to max out Mewtwo because 5x Rhydon + Mewtwo gives a better shot than 6x Rhydon.

Do they use maps? Yes. Is that extreme gameplay? Yes. Do they spoof? Nope.

Ironically I find both your post and the post you are responding to as "irresponsible"

The first post shouldn't have assumed spoofing

Your post shouldn't call someone using maps "Legit Players". Map functions by using bots. Bots are cheating. Benefiting from cheating is cheating.

There are tons of level of cheating though: and spoofers are probably in the 7th circle of hell. But just because your in a lesser one, doesn't make it legit.

Sure. I take my word of "legit players" back. My point is spoofers don't book a flight and spend a weekend for some challenge. Spoofers can just sit there and go wherever they want. To just assume them as "spoofers" and continue by saying there's no difference between spoofers and those driving around chasing rare Pokémon is simply not the case. I don't drive around collecting all 100% but I know at least those people are NOT spoofers.

Legit players don't use maps. There is no difference between spoofing and driving to a 100%,Rhyhorn that pops on a map.

"Legit players don't use maps" - That's the fair point.

"There's no difference between bla bla bla" - now that's all because you don't want to say you are wrong to assume them spoofers in the first place.

The key aspect is the maxed perfect Rhydons, they didn't manuever in any kind of way. Them trying something that is virtually impossible 50 times doesn't make their effort inspiring...it would be fully impossible if they didn't have the perfect Rhydons

I totally understand, which is why I said I took my word back about "legit players". But my point is they are not spoofers.

They should have tried with a dt/outrage instead of last rhydon. Is a bit faster, probably just enough to make it. Maybe they will visit Europe in nivember to try :), I don’t think Europe has that level of hard core players in one place.

I hope they will manage to do it.
All 3 employed the switching tactic? If not they need to try that way.
