Soloing Necessities

Hey brains trust, just want to know what you all think are essentials for soloing T3 raids.
I've tried a couple but the only one I've managed is a close combat Machamp.
Basically what should I be focusing on powering up and using TMs on?
Thanks!
I've attached some of my 'mons if that helps with suggestions :)

You need Gengar, Lugia, Alakazam, Espeon and/or Xatus for Machamp, per video evidences and simulations. Oh, and also Mewtwo.

Machamp is the one I have been able to solo, I was more looking for advice on others, but thanks :)

You've got more than enough for gengar:

1 gengar
2 Zam
3 Espeon
4 espeon
5 DT/O dragon or 3rd Espeon
6 Ttar

Seems like lag is your issue if you can only do Machamp but you can do a crunch Arcanine with this:

1) Golem (TM mudslap to RT)
2) Golem
3) HP Vap
4) DT/O dragon
5) rhydon (TM RS to MS)
6) lv 30.5 Ttar or AT Vap ( not used)

He should be using RT Golems and Vaporeons against Arcanine, they have the lowest time to kill. Rhydons are terrible because Mud Slap sucks, they barely get the job done with the best moveset and that's in a perfect simulation.

Did a crunch Arcanine today :)
two vapes, two RT golems and Ttar. took like 5 attempts with it looking like zero health at the end and only made it with 3 seconds to spare, but pretty chuffed.

It sounds like it shouldn't have been that hard though. Should I be blaming my low end phone, the fact I'm in Australia, or something else? :P

If you are serious about t3 solos, you should consider ctm-ing both of your ttars to crunch. Also powering up a ttar or adding another one to the roster is seldom a bad move. Golems should have rock throw as qm. Alakazam is a valuable glass cannon which you should try to keep in fights as long as possible. Consequently, you should think about qtm-ing it to psycut in case you have problems dodging boss charge moves.

That's my five cents. I would say you are good to go for Gengar btw.

Why have Alakazam, when you can have Mewtwo ;)

He prob don't have one cos he hasn't had a ex raid pass. Well done Niantic!

In retirement it is good fun laughing at the games absurdities ;)

Don't know what you are trying to say really, but it appears that once again you are assuming too much and knowing too little. Since you keep forgetting: you announced to leave the forum btw.

I just managed to solo a Vaporeon is a second or two to spare. I did it using maxed lv39 Raikou, Exeggutor, Jolteon, & Zapdos.

I too managed Machamp without any psychic attackers: two maxed Hurricabe Dragons and again Raikou.

I haven't tried any of the others yet however I think I'm ready! They say Jolteon is the hardest. Good luck to you.

Not if you try it until you run out of potions. You can definitely defeat it then,

It is the only Tier 3 Raid Boss that cannot be solo'd. People have tried and believe me, they are strong and knowledgable. Check iut ProdigiesNation's channel. He makes mince meat of other bosses but failed miserably on Jolteon. There are lot's of thread regarding that anyways. I only mentioned Prodigies since he has a video and is known for really playing alone thus, soloing raid bosses most of the time.

Even with unlimited lvl 40 pokemons with 100IVs you can't beat Jolteon solo. You can't get a high enough DPS.

100IVs legacy Omastars at lvl 40 can in theory solo a flareon on 179s. although i can't see anyone having only 1s lagg.

Jolteon and flareon can't be done solo.

Pokebattler shows very low probability to win against jolteon, but we need a battle log to see whether it possible.
Same for flareon, 179,6 is average, there are faster and slower battles.
