Legendary raids badge?

Any reasons to why we need a seperate one for legendary raids? Do we really need it? And if we do, where is it because I remember someone said Niantic would add it in an update?

In case you didn't know: The journal shows the Rhydon head for both normal and legendary raids, but shows a Lugia head for EX raids. However I did not get the Lugia badge added to my profile after the mewtwo raid

Confusing. Can't understand the meaning of what yoi said.
Just to clarify for others I confirm what the OT said:
Rhydon Badge includes abd registers only normal completed (boss defeated) raids.

I'm aware that the legendary raids (e.g. Entei) do not contribute to the NORMAL raid badge. This is a known bug. However the Lugia badge (mistakenly called "legendary badge") only counts the EX raids ( also not working as of now)
