Found a shiny pikachu in a large nest area.

It is now a Raichu. Not really the best stats though but good for gym fodder.

Cool, occasionally I have thought to look up what a shiny pikachu looks like, but I never did. Now I'll know if I see one

They're more orange than yellow and there will be stars flying around it while in capture mode. If there's a pikachu nest nearby, hunt around there for a few days, one might turn up. I'm still looking for the golden carp though.

Also if you try to transfer a shiny Pokemon you'll get a warning message saying something like "are you really sure you want to transfer this shiny Pokemon"
