I DID IT! Solo'd Arcanine

I did it!
On my way home from a raid an Arcanine spawned at the gym closest to my home. I had tried before and failed, so I thought this was convenient to try again.

I fought 4 to 5 times, at first it wasn't too close, but lots of spinning ball issues. I tried 3 times I think before I powered up my Golems because I knew they would reach a breakpoint. And Tm'ed my Aqua Tail Vape.
And God it was a close one. But I made it!!!
I'm so happy, after reading all these posts about tier 3 solos I wanted to do it also.

This was my final lineup:
Vaporeon HP 3003 CP
Vaporeon HP 2882 CP
Golem SE 2638 CP
Golem SE 2623 CP
Tyranitar SE 3295 CP
Rhydon EQ 2822 CP

I did not use the Rhydon. And writing this I realise, I chose the wrong, weaker Rhydon at the end :-D

the first Vape got 4 Hydro Pumps off (I was pretty surprised) and the other 3.

Arcanine moveset was Crunch, and I think the quick move was Snarl.

Finally.

Nice going still looking to do that close but no cigar for me yet. But I do see it is possible.

Thanks. I tried only once before (but multiple times) and in my opinion both the power ups for Golem and Ttars Stone Edge made the difference. (I tried Rhydon, Dragonite etc before)

Congratulations! I've done Machamp, Arcanine and Gengar. I've failed three times on Alakazam, but only had 1-2 attempts each time, due to the raid ending. Vaporeon and of course Alakazam are next on my list.
