Defending gym for mewtwo raid

What would be your ideal gym set up for defending/holding a gym prior to a mewtwo battle. I'm a little underwhelmed by the gamepress defenders list...

1st in: Blissey
2nd in: ?
3rd in: vaporeon?
4th in: ? Chancy?
5 ?
6: body slam snorlax?

Just put in tanky, blissey, snorlax, chansey, lapras, vaporeon, slowbro, heck even steelix or umbreon. Anything that takes time, golden razz does the rest.

Nigel 7. Any idea how many golden ras might e required per hour? I've got an extra 50 but that probably lasts 45 min?

Depends on how many of your teammates show up vs how many of the other team is attacking. If you are at the gym waiting/watching, you can see when they beat a mon twice, then you Grazz after. That's why long battles, even easy long batters are preferred. By the time they make it through all 6 mons, you've healed up right behind them.

I showed up an hour early and I made one guy use about 10-15, but then 5 of his teammates showed up and I don't think he used another one for the last 30 minutes before the raid.

Thank you! I wonder how 10 people attacking the gym will work with golden ras. Seems like it could be necessary to feed a 3100+ blissey every 2 min if she is in the first stop?

Yes, and if you're lucky it will even cause errors and your opponents will not be able to attack like next 10 minutes.

Blissey snorlax chansey wigglytuff lapras. Then guy dragonite. But we had so many golden it was always topped off.

Wiggly is not tanky due to the poor def. Vape and steelix are better, even wobbufet.

Around here, it doesn't matter what you have defending a gym, all you have to do is look at it while someone is fighting, then they'll get network errors until they give up. I was fighting a gym with only two mediocre defenders a few days ago, should've taken a couple minutes, but then someone else drove by and tossed a Kingler in while I was battling. I immediately network errored out of my current fight, then I had to restart the game 3 or 4 times per battle after that. Then once I finally finished off the original two defenders, that Kingler was literally unbeatable for me. I tried over and over and over, but I just couldn't get past the errors to actually attack it even once, and eventually just left, like 45 minutes after I first started.

Then a day or two ago, I accidentally did the same thing to someone else. I was hoping someone would kick me out of a different gym I was in, to give me my coins for the day, so I was glad when I saw the gym under attack while I happened to be watching the game. I opened up the gym to see how much they had left to fight, and by that point my defender was already gone, so all that remained was the last defender with about 1000 CP left. Then for the next 10 minutes, I kept seeing the battle animation, but they never cleared the gym and eventually left, plus that last defender suddenly showed it had a battle won.
