According to the Starbucks leak Gen 2 should be released today at midnight utc or 8 hours from this posting. Some wierd stuff happened yesterday on the servers which implies ....

Im so sick of doing the same stuff Im done with gen 1.

Seems like Niantic uses midnight UTC time which is about 5 pm PST or 8pm EST the day before.

I don't hatch my 10-km-egg just waiting for the next event. I don't spend my gym-coins, maybe i need some incubators for this time.
Everything we already had would be fine - more candy, more dust - xp does not really matter beyond 30 imo.

Maybe we get a christmas-present - such as incubators, incent or modules when turning the first pokestop 25th of december?

Why don't you hatch your eggs? I don't think the egg (or what comes out of it) will change once Gen 2 comes out.

The theory is that the egg is already determined when you collect it. Ie location it was collected determines what type of regional exclusive that comes from it not where it hatches. Japanese eggs cannot yield Tauros.
Also the on double candy event if you collected the egg prior to the event starting it did NOT yield double candy. On the double xp/stardust it did apply to all eggs hatched.

I bet he's waiting to see what the holiday special will be (e.g., the double candy from Halloween or the double stardust/XP from Thanksgiving). I'm holding onto my 10K eggs for the same reason - if they do another double candy event I'd love to get extra Dratini, Lapras, or Snorlax candies (assuming my eggs don't hatch more Pinsirs, that is...).

Sure Niantic plans something big, otherwise they wouldn't have wasted Double XP, Double Stardust and Ditto for Thanksgiving

My hope is they have special Christmas eggs that you can walk and hatch. Maybe a few special pokemon during that time. Maybe a chance to get a legendary out of a special egg.

If so I will be walking for days!
