Would anyone else like a prestiger tier list l?

A list of pokemon that may not exactly have the highest max CP but are efficient at taking on common defender of much higher CP?

Vaporeon, Pidgeot, Parasect, and Wigglytuff probably get the most use for me.

It would be helpful to have a small section on the pages of the most relevant Pokemon for the most effective Pokemon to use against them prestige wise.

I like to have pairs, a prestiger for each defender. I'm sure some could be more efficient.

Good idea! I think this would be useful for noobs.

Yeah, I think it'd be an awesome idea! I prestige a lot and these are the ones I personally use the most against each common defender:

Against Vaporeon: Tangela (a lot of them), Jolteon, Raichu, Parasect, Electabuzz

Against Exeggutor: Parasect, Pidgeot, Pinsir, Butterfree, Venomoth, Beedrill, Raticate, Wigglytuff

Against Dragonite: Seadra, Cloyster, Dewgong, Wigglytuff, Clefable

Against Lapras/Gyarados: Raichu, Electabuzz, Jolteon, Tangela

Against Arcanine/Flareon: Golduck, Seadra, Marowak, Poliwrath, Sandslash

Against Rhydon: Golduck, Seadra, Tangela

Against Snorlax: Wigglytuff, a low-CP Vaporeon

It's not quite as relevant as a CP list because for Prestige purposes there isn't any difference between a 1200 CP Vaperon and a 1200 CP Starmie.

Vaperon's Higher Base stats are included in 1200 CP
So for the CP to be equal Starmie either has Better IVs or is higher level, to catch up the base stat difference.

Now, there can be a difference in spread IE how much of that 1200 comes from the Pokemon's attack
and how much from the HP/Def

So when your making a Prestige Team it's more about the Moves & How Far Lower CP you want to go

IE: There's a 2200 Vaperon defender. Do you want 1600 Point Tangela or a 1200 Point Tangela.

After that since you are attacking with a Lower CP you want to have an advantge
1* Adv: Electric does Super against Water
Grass takes Less from Electric

2* Adv: Water does Super against Fire and takes less. Grass does Super and takes less from Water

There are ton's of 1 Advantage Types and 2 Advantage Types out there but the rare ones are triples.

Omanstar takes double less & does super effective against Fire

If anything I'd just make a List of "1 Advantage" "2 Advantage" and those rare 3 Advantage types.

While you have a point, you're only hitting on part of the issue. I'd like to add:

1) Moves DO matter the most, but not every Pokemon has the same moves. E.G. is a Bug Bite/Bug Buzz Scyther better than a Bug Bite/X-Scissor Pinsir? etc.

2) If only type advantage was considered, then Kingler and Vaporeon would be on the same list...so it's probably not the best way to rank them.

3) While two Pokemon with the same CP will have the same approximate strength, the distribution of those stats can be very different. Ex. Cloyster is > 50% DEF 20% HP 30% ATK.... Dewgong is about 35% DEF/35%HP / 25% ATK. How does that affect their effectiveness as a prestiger? Which is preferred?

4) Since the Damage calculation not only involves the ATK stat, but also the level of the Pokemon, does that if 2 Pokemon have the same CP, but one is level 30 and one is level 15, the level 30 will be more effective?

All of these would need to be considered. I think it's more complicated than you think ;)

Yeah not quite high attack pokemon tend to have very inflated CP. Before the CP update my 1500 Omastar (type advantage) and Vaporeon (high HP fir) could easily take 2-3 2000K Arcanine while my 1500 Golduck and Starmie could never take a 3rd dog.

Yeah, I've thought about this myself. Would definitely be good to know b/c then you can know who to keep more of - also would help newer players from seeing a bad rating and getting rid of the Pokemon...like the 6/10 on Parasect for example.
