What are your suggested gym sweeper in general?

I can see these Pokemons still occupy the gyms for most of the times:
Blissey, snorlax, dragonite, gyarados,rhydon, vaporeon.

So what are your frequently used/suggested gym sweeper?

For me, I use these and only dodge charge moves:
Tyranitar B/SE
Dragonite DB/DC or DT/HC or Outrage
Exeggutor */SoB

Also, for low motivation, is alakazam useful as gym sweeper?

Fast quick moves are important for gym sweeper to dodge easily and hopefully can build energy reasonably quick.

Tyranitar B/C and B/SE
Dragonite DT/O and DB/DC

For Blisseys and fairies only:
Exeggutor C/SoB
Flareon FS/OH or FS/Ft

If almost the whole gym is weak to a certain type, I would use a few Pokemon of that type to sweep.
A gym with Blissey, Snorlax, Steelix, Muk, Lapras, Clefable isn't a problem for me. I take the opportunity to use my fire types which I hardly have a chance to use.

I would use Flareon FS/Ft as sweeper if I could, but too many defenders resist fire.

In my Taipei area, the sweeper in last round will always be Rhydon with RS/SE. The gym will always be Snorlax, Blissey, Larpras, T-Rex, all can be deal with Fighting in fast move, plus, Rhydon can battle for long time. Others will be Dragonite:DB/DC, Eggy:C/SoB, Alakazam, Espeon

My sweeper means low motivation. It's Last Round Sweeper, Lapras won't even use a single HP

rhydon for the exact reason above, handles almost anything with its fighting move, 1 rhydon usually is enough as a cleaner.

Against high motivation, a gym sweeper is a bad choice. But if you want one I'd pick dragonite. Bite is a "weak" move.
You are making a huge mistake not using machamp against Blissey, Chansey and Snorlax. Basically taking 3x time longer to take down the gym. Machamp is also good against Rhydon.
My current team would be:
Machamp
Articuno
Jolteon
Dragonite

For low motivation gym I prefer dragonite. Yes, Alakazam also works fine in this case.

I see this not often enough- Bite is a weak move indeed- and I am unimpressed with my Maxed Ttar vs Blissey compared to my maxed Machamp vs Blissey. Sure Machamp gets taken out quicker, but most have at least 3 by now, and who doesn't have 3000 potions from raids already?

"who doesn't have 3000 potions from raids already?"
I've been constantly running out of potions. It's much better now with potion raid rewards, but I would still be fine without those (and I didn't ask for it).

I use con/focus Alakazam for Snorlax, Blissey & Tyra or count/d punch Machamp. The rest are pretty easy with a drag tail/outrage Dragonite or bite/s edge Tyra. Defending sadly ain't what it used to be.

On higher motivation rounds I would say
Machamp X2 or X3 (Snorlax and Blissey and Ttar and Rhydon can be dispatched quickly)
Dragonite X2, DT/OR (Anything Machamp doesn't solve)
Your choice of X2 or X1 Glass cannon (Gengar, Alakazam, whatever works)

Final motivation round:
B/C Ttar or DT/DC or DB/DC Dragonite (DC is key so there is no overkill like outrage), and in general any multi bar high DPS killer. SC/SB Gengar is a prime candidate too.

The only leveled up pokemon I ever use if I decide to fight a gym are machamps in order to take out the blissey or snorlax which is almost always in the first position. Usually those blissey/snorlaxes are powered up, remnants of the original gym system.

For everything else that may be in a gym, I usually just use unpowered legendaries in order to see their move animations

based on some of the lists I see some of you might have a far different definition of sweeper than others.

Sweeper = don't change and fight all 6. Sometimes done on 2nd round, definately done on 3rd round

Dragonite & now Mew2 are the best sweeper in game.

Raiko is probably next

The key idea in sweeping is it doesn't matter if you take extra damage (like there is an Ice in the mix for dragonite) you need to kill everything before it gets off a charge move. So it can't resist your attacks.

Mewtwo is crap as a sweeper because it deals laughable damage to Tyranitar in gyms.
