Then how much more stardust do you get per day from go plus?

My play has completely changed. I used to get 100 coins per day and most of my dust came from using gym proceeds to purchase incubators. I am probably slightly up using go plus but game style is different since I need to always be near pokestops to replenish regular poke balls. I only catch evolved forms and certain mons with great and ultra. Everything else go plus. About 7,000 a day from catching and 3,000 from hatching for a total of 10,000/day. I'm up slightly to about 12,000 per day now since I started using it when I drive through shopping center parking lots on errands. Can catch 10-12 useless mons in about 3 min for about 1,000 stardust.

It is a real pain to keep track of and much less enjoyable than hatching eggs.

I've used it since July and love it! Highly recommended. Not sure how much more dust I get, but definitely more. It makes catching easier and more convenient (e. g., discreetly in a store).

Yes!

I have a target of 75k dust a week, which I have met every week since setting that target. Would have to work a lot harder to meet it without the plus.

As long as this thread is up I might as well ask in it:

  1. How many open mon spots do you typically leave clear? I am a bit of a mon hoarder so will need to trim mine down from 999/1000 to be useful. What about your bag?
  2. Do you keep an eye on your screen to see what you're catching so you don't miss out on something good? If so, do just click the button for garbage mon and they disappear whether or not you catch them? I understand if you're out of red balls it won't throw any?

Thanks!

  1. About 100 out of 1000. Sometimes I do a big clearance and get around 200 open spots, but I hate doing that.
  2. No. I typically either use the Go Plus while biking or shopping or walking with others OR I catch manually to get rid of my excess Great Balls and Ultra Balls (I like to use all of my great balls and leave about 50 ultra balls just in case). The biggest issue with using the Go Plus is that you need a LOT of regular pokeballs.

  1. This is a constant problem, sometimes I only notice I'm maxed out because it won't can't) catch anything. Then I sort by "recent" and transfer low CP etc mon.
  2. a. Yes, you should. Yesterday, while biking, I would have missed out on a high cp exeggutor and taurus it would have probably not caught (another day a Snorlax!).
    b. Yes, it's nice. Sometimes it surprises me what it catches (Pikachu, starters) if I haven't paid attention.
    c. Correct, but I forget how this is indicated because I currently have > 700 red balls (I used to never have close to 100 balls, even had to buy some :-( until the gym rework. This is why I didn't get a Plus sooner).

Don't get me wrong, it's not perfect and sometimes drives me crazy 'cause it won't (re)connect. Overall, though, definitely worth it.

I can't. I would run out of balls within a day. Not enough stops for me to blindlessly throw balls. I have to pick my Pokemon and catch them with accuracy.

I normally try to look at my screen before pressing the button but it's not always possible, especially if I'm in a car. Also a lot of times, the Go will buzz before the mon actually shows up. But when I'm walking, I try to look before pressing just in case. Except for one time... I kind of zoned out on my daily walk and started pressing the Go button willy nilly at every buzz. Then I happened to look at my screen just after pressing it and saw a Snorlax. There was no way to tell the Go NO! Stop! Let me... then the Snorlax ran away. Now, I try to be more careful.

That's always a sinking feeling.... Fortunately hasn't happened with something as good as a Snorlax!
