Rhydon fast move

I have 10 Rhydons. Every single one has the Rock Smash fast move. That seems like extremely long odds. I wonder if my account is just flagged for Rock Smash Rhydons to evolve. Either way... I guess I'd better TM a couple of those guys with Earthquake so I can have supreme counters for Raikou.

Can my account really be set for only Rock Smash fast move on evolve?

I'm convinced that yes, accounts can be flagged for certain (unlucky) moves.

Here's my luck of note, which illustrates how frustrated I was pre-TM. I had actually sworn to quit the game but they announced TMs the very next day.

12 Rhydons. 2 got Mud Slap and the rest Rock Smash. I recently TM'd one to get 3 with MS to counter Raikou.

8 Dragonites. Every. single. one. got Hyper Beam.

8 Charizards. 6 got Dragon Claw.

12 Gengars before the moveset changes. Only one got Shadow Claw/Shadow Ball, and it's a 73% with 4 attack.

Another anecdote:
I have evolved 6-8 Dragonites and all of them have gotten Steel Wing. From the about 4 wild Dragonites, I have caught one Dragon Breath/Dragon Pulse and one Dragon Tail/Hyper Beam.

I hear you. But 10/10 is long odds. I didn't even realize Rhydon HAD another fast move. I've now TM'd 2 of them with EQ charge moves.

I'm just joking around as you know. I don't believe anyone can be flagged with such actions.

Tho I just admit that all my 7 Rhydon came with mud shot. I can't complain. Lucky for you that they introduced fast TMs. Rock smash is not something you want on your Rhydon.

Actually Rock smash Rhydon is all right as a snorlax/blissey killer, the tanks are weak to RS, and Rhydon resists normal moves. Still, MS is better, no question.

I have elvolved 6 rhydons all over 80% ivs and every single one of them got rock smash and megahorn

Lol that happened to me with Machamp before it had counter and dynamic punch. I evolved 8 machops and never got cross chop.

I'm at the point where whenever i evolve something i just expect it to have the worst moveset possible, when once in a bluemoon i evolve something with a perfect moveset I'm almost strangely disappointed.

The odds are 1 in 2^10, which is 1 in 1024. So they are slim, but consider the huge number of pogo players (millions). This means that there will be thousands of players who will see there first 10 rhydons get Rock Smash, you are just one of them. Better luck next time!
