The Murkrow issue...

I'm terrible with my dragon medal, super low bronze. I have 1200 Murkrow candy, 1 Murkrow over 1150 and above 85%, so almost a worthless endeavor aside from me now having a lot of Tyranitars

Barely silver on dragon and fighting.
Only dratini for dragon type and fighting type is extremly rare here.
I did the same with murkrow but took me like 2 months to get from bronze to gold as they spawn so frequently.
Steel is about halfway gold just because i culdnt go to the magnemite nest bacause it was Raining for like 3 weeks.

I avoid catching Murkrows like the plague and rather focus on stuff like Houndour whenever they nest. I've caught a 100% IV Murkrow just 1 day after I've made my account, and I'm keeping it until Honchrow is released.

I have been neglecting medal catch bonuses for quite a long time until I actually bothered to wonder how they work. I'm 26 dark pokemon away from a gold medal on it.

Murkrow was the only dark Pokemon with regular spawn in my area. I'm eager for all medals, so therefore I learned to catch them.

Just missing the dragon medal. I'm on 98, while I should be living in a dratini heavy biome apperently.

I caught as many Murkrow as possible at the very beginning, and so completed the gold medal of Dark type in the first week of Gen2.
Just in case I encountered a wild Tyranitar.
~3 weeks ago I completed the Steel Medal
~a week ago I completed the Dragon Medal

Near 1300 Murkrow candies here...and 800 dark caught...I catch them all. Sometimes, I even ultra a Murkrow to save time...

No real miscalculations...Used tons of dust on Rhydon and previous meta mons, but no regrets there as I got a lot of free Pokecoins/stardust...

One time I was trying to catch the Murkrow, saw its CP, then fled. After that I checked the possible IV combination, it was a 0% IV one! I should have caught it, if I really did, as my second 0% IV Pokémon.

Today, I encountered a 31 CP Natu, I powered up it once to check its IV, 6.67%! Immediately transferred.

Thinking that Victreebel was worth investing stardust in to take down all the Vaporeons early on in gyms. If I could get 20% of that dust back I could probably power up 5 really useful mon in the current meta.

During the lull before the fire/ice event I happened to stumble upon a future gen evolution chart and saw some gnarly CPs so I started catching all that crap. Rhyhorn, murkrow, tangela, electabuzz, magmar, etc. got my dark gold a long time ago. Certainly helped when raids came out. Now I'm almost done my last three; ghost (154), steel (164), and dragon (101) to finish.

Get the crows while you can. I would bet money that by the time its evolution comes out they won't be so common.

Why not? It's an abundant source of stardust. Still looking for 100% iv Murkrow.

600 murkrow. Hate those but there nothing else to take.
