Level 30 and above

When you get to level 30 and above, do pokemon still spawn close to max? How about level 36, do pokemons still spawn close to max? Or does that stop once you reach level 30?

Wild pokémon's spawn are maxed in level 30. So if you're level 30~40 they can spawn level 1~30, if you're level 20 they can spawn level 1~20.

So does that mean if im level 36, ill have to bring a pokemon to level 36 from 30? If so that's crazy. That's more then 50K stardust. That's crazy.....

yes, although it's not like you're the only level 30< player that has this issue.

You'll have plenty of time between levels. Just from 33 to 34 is 1 million exp. Comparing that to the 200,000 needed to get from 1-20, that's plenty of time to accumulate dust for your favorite top mons.

The benefit of powering up diminishes greatly after a mon reaches level 30. By level 30, it has 90% of its maximum power. But to get from level 30 to level 40, it will use more than half of the total amount of dust it would take to get all the way from level 1 to 40...while gaining only the last 10% of its power.

I have few that I'll always power up to max, but for the most part, I don't take the rest past level 32 or so.

Its not crazy.
You have to make choices.
To choose small group of pokemons to max out OR big group to level up 30,5 and then stop.

This is very interesting. I didn't know that was the case. So everyone who is 30+ will see/get the same level/CP pokemon that spawns in the wild? Crazy I say!

Good to know though.
