So on gengar:
sucker punch 7 dmg (no stab)
shadow claw 13 dmg (stab)
I can use shadow claw once between dodges, twice if its steel wing dragonite but sucker punch i can use 3-4 times on every defender so how come sucker punch isnt also rated A? Also considering dodging all quick attacks since gengar is glass cannon.
Attacking moveset ratings don't consider dodging, they just assume you spam attacks 24/7 so the highest overall DPS is at the top.
Sucker Punch's DPS does come close, if not better than Shadow Claw when you can't fit in an extra attack due to Shadow Claw's cooldown where you would with Sucker Punch.
All rankings have flaws and none are all inclusive of all possibilities. Some only account for max damage possible without dodging others account for total damage output which takes into account damage taken. In the end its just a guide to make sense of things, a way to add details. Best thing to do is try it out and see what works best for you.
Quick moves are hard cuz much is dependent on the quick move of the defender your attacking. What works very well for one move type might not for another in practice.
