About Tyranitar moves
I have two maxed out Tyranitar, one is 100% IV, and the other one is 93% IV. My question is, which moveset do you think will be more relevant in the future? Is one of Tyranitar's charge moves likely to become legacy?
The perfect one has B/SE, the other one B/C, I have a high amount of TM's (17 charge) and all the other mon I have already with the movesets I need so at this point they are only staking and taking bag space.
I was thinking of switching them and making my 100% a double dark move in case Crunch may become legacy like it happened with Dragonite's Dragon Claw. What would you do? I apprecciate any advice and your thoughts about the future proof of both movesets. I don't know much about gen3 and the future generations.

Umm, what? Crunch does 70 for a 3 bar move, which is very good - there's nothing that does more damage with 3 bars. Discharge is faster, but only does 65 (same with Psyshock, but no one has that). Foul play is a touch better because it's faster, but it's a 2 bar, so requires more energy.
As long as you're good hitting hard and often with Crunch, it's a fine move. At 3 bars, literally any charged move that hits T-Tar gives enough energy to hit back with Crunch, and usually twice. It's a solid move on Gyarados and Arcanine, and they don't have STAB with it.
Now, I'm not saying it's as good as SolarBeam, or DT/O on Dragonite, but Crunch is a solid move.
Your underestimating the importance of the animation time for charge moves.
If x move is one second quicker than y move, in that one second you can do 10 damage and gain 10 energy with your quick move (give or take.)
Crunch is a 3 bar move with a slow animation time, which means you'll be spending plenty of time not attacking with your quick move.
The question with legacy moves is are they better or worse. Gengar's Shadow Claw is great, but Golem's Ancient Power is not so hot. You've got the two best movesets, so I'd stick with it until you know the landscape of the changes. If you're worried, try to get another strong T-Tar and try to get B/C or B/SE. I don't see either of those getting worse, IMO, since T-Tar is Dark/Rock. Maybe they'll add something better than SE, a 2 bar move that's pretty quick. Who knows?
I think my question may have been missunderstood or bad asked, but I was planning on switching them but still keeping one of each move. So my 100% IV had both dark moves (switch from B/SE to B/C) and the 93% had the rock charge move (switch from B/C to B/SE)
I was just thinking about what may be more useful in future generations, if psychic type will become more relavant in gen3 and above then B/C will be for sure better than B/SE and I would like to have my 100% with that moveset.
That is why I asked. Keep in mind that I don't mind at all the risk or the number of TM's needed, I just want to know if B/SE will have the same uses or more than it already has now in future generations or B/C will become more relavant because of the 2xdark.
from gen 3:
- high CP pokemons metagross is psychic.
- legendary (so boss level 5?) latios, latias?, deoxys and another one I forget are psychic or part psychic.
Spend your TMs, looks like this will make you feel better :).
But if they make crunch legacy, do you think the new dark move will be weaker? I don't. So if in your shoose I will keep them as is since I will want my 100 iv to have the new better move.
Thank you very much! That was the kind of advice I was looking for because I don't know almost anything about gen3 and above.
I will keep them but now at least I know that 2xdark move will be very useful in the future at least. So if I keep stocking up on TM's I would probably end up switching that moves.
