Raikou - First Impressions and Results

So far it seems like he goes down a lot slower than Zapdos. But its probably because players havent beefed up their typing yet.

Did 2 raids and so far 2/2. Mostly happy to get a CTM finally! Gym control also helped for that.

We beat one last night with a raid group of 7 and had 75 seconds left. I thought it went down super easy, but then again we had some beastly lineups. I thought this thread was gonna be about using Raikou as an attacker... this thing feels like a monster already at L20.

Yea everyone was just using their double rock golems in my raids. I'm guilty of that as well. Only had 2 MS/EQ rydons at lvl's 23, 25.

Will be testing out Raikou tonight. I'm curious to see how TS/WC stacks up against zapdos' CB/TB.

Just did my first raid vs Entei. 17 in the group, it started to shrink with 250 left... Caught it on the last ball, 91%, att 15. Not bad.

We had enough people to split up by team.
Helped with getting extra balls.

It appears that Raikou takes super-effective damage from Dragonite (dragon attacks), but I thought he only gets super-effective damage from ground attacks. Is this an error, or has anyone else noticed this?

i had a nite in there and didnt see super effective with DT/OR. I think you were just seeing an overlap of others launching their MS/EQs while launching yours

He's neutral to dragon attacks. However I must ask is there a glitch when dragonite attacks electric typing. It Might be me seeing others using golem or rhydon but every time
I use dragonite and he gets attacked by zapdos or raikou, it keeps saying "not very effective". Anyone else experience this or am I mistaking it for other players golems/ rhydons?

Also to the OP, it would make total sense that raikou takes longer than zapdos. His defensive stats are higher so he'll take just a bit longer to dispose of.

My friend, I thought I was the only one. Afaik electric attacks were always neutral to Dragonite. However, lately I've been seeing the not very effective to my surprise.

I agree. Have been seeing Dragonite resist electric. Not sure why. Not upset about it at all.

Yes there is a glitch.
The effectiveness of Electric into Flying and Dragon uses a 1.4 * 0.714 = 0.9996 modifier. Because that value is less than 1.0 it shows the "not very effective" text.

My first impression: Where is he?

There haven't been any here yet, but still saw four or five of the birds this morning.
