Is Jynx pretty useful pokemon?

Hi folks, just caught one 100% IV Jynx with CP600, is Jynx any useful in current or future meta?

She'll be good with double ice moves for Dragonite raids but I wouldn't bother powering up a 600 one. She's a nest mon, so it is easy to find a stronger one if you are motivated.

I also hatch one Smoochum with IV100% and LV20. However, it's too cute, I would rather level up CP600 one hehe. Thanks for reply!

I alos recently hatched a 100% Smoochum. I already evolved it to a 100% Jynx and it even got Frost Breath/Avalanche. Honestly, I never thought I would spend dust on a Jynx, but I am super tempted to bring her to L30. She's a glass mon, but would do some damage before fainting.

She's a nest mon where you are, here she doesn't nest, she's literally everywhere. I'm not sure there's ever been a nest of them here in London, but because she's so common here I've caught thousands.

No, don't bother other than for show. Lapras and Cloyster are far superior in use.

Everytime I've used Jynx against Dragonite, she gets wrecked pretty bad...

Maybe it's because Dragonite just has a very high attack or Steel Wing, but I'd probably level it to 30 anyways if I had a 100% one. Could use on Lugia for a while longer...

Her typing is also not very useful only resisting psychic and ice with stronger Psychic types out there so she's purely used for Ice I'd guess.

I have an ice Jynx at L39. Fantastic and fun to use against Dragonite, but is a "luxury" mon. It's meant for gym speed-runners. In your case, I would not recommend powering it up if you are frugal on stardust.

It's the fastest at Dragonite take-down, better than Cloyster and Lapras an Articuno, slightly better than another Dragonite.

Jynx is one of the most common Pokemon you'll find anywhere in London, I've literally caught thousands of them. So inevitably I eventually found a very high IV / cp one. So I have one at cp2226, 97.8% IV and double ice moves. She's the fastest Pokemon I have at taking out Dragonite (and I have a Lapras with higher cp).

She can often take out a Dragonite before it can use any charge moves, which is great, because she feints super easily. So arguably the best thing against Dragonite in gyms, but I don't think she'll be useful in Dragonite raids, simply because she'll faint so fast.

I think she'll be great in raids! Where you have plenty of people anyway. She'll give you a slight leg-up on DPS compared to everyone using Articuno, Cloyster and Lapras. My 93% Jynx will be in first spot on my team, anyway :-)

Not at all worth powering up. I might keep it as a collectors item, maybe? I wouldn't even do that, honestly - as in, I don't even check the IV's of jynxes unless they're really high level, I just transfer them.

But Jynx is not good in any arena of gameplay. Although she has slightly higher attack than the other common ice attackers, this does not compensate for her being incredibly squishy. She dies really really fast in almost any battle.

The same role (ice attacker) is better filled by Lapras, Arcticuno, Cloyster or Piloswine.
