Lugia vs Mewtwo
Which is better against Mewtwo, extrasensory or dragon tail?
I currently have an extrasensory Lugia, worth fast TM-ing into dragon tail?

Lugia does not worth the TM, there are better DPS counters. Lugia's role is to hold the 6th spot against Focus Blast Mewtwos, not dealing a decent amount of DPS, instead it deals good TDO.
If you need a tank counter with decent DPS, find Snorlax, but Tyranitar would do better overall; both get countered by Focus Blast, the earlier is very great against Shadow Ball.
I plan to power up Lugia for Mewtwo...It's awesome to survive Focus Blast and can take 4 undodged Focus Blasts, even at level 30.

An undodged Focus Blast will one shot any Tyranitar (level 39s even) and with the dodge bug and multiple trainers attacking, you might not get off a single Stone Edge...
Lugia will be by far the best counter to FB Mewto and even very good against HB and Psychic. Snorlax will be good against SB but I think depending on the group size you could deal a lot of damage and survive with your first 6 if you take a lineup of 2 Tyranitar, Scizor, Gyarados, Lugia and Snorlax for example.
If groups go < 10 you wont need tanks and still can switch in Dragonites instead of Lugia and/or Snorlax.
