disappearing pokemon
Has anyone has the issue of pokemon being taken away from their account? I have had growlithes, grimers and dratinis that I have caught taken away including their associated candies. I recently hatched my one and only snorlax and one week later, it was gone. And, no, I did not transfer them by mistake or left them fainted or unhealed in any gym.

Do you favorite rare mons right after you catch them?
No Ive caught over 11K pkm and to my best knowledge theyve all been there. Ive never seen anyone complain about that neither. Assuming your game works just like everybody else's I think we can imply youve either been hacked or somebody has access to your game and is messing with you. Its unlikely your the only player with disappearing pokemon problems so the issue is prolly on your side.
If I were you id change all your passwords and update and increase your security. Whatever is max security you should set it up that way. Contact Niantic and see what they say.
Thank you very much for all your responses. I did favourite my snorlax for sure. I have seen threads of conversations on other discussion sites where people complain of it but have no answers. It looks like I am not the only one. Niantic has not responded to my communication. Very unlikely someone physically messing with my phone. I will change my password and see what happens. Thanks.
Sometimes after a day's catching, I notice that not all my catches are there. Recently though, I finally evolved my first Dragonite and powered it up to its maximum CP. Today I defeated a gym and went to put my dragonite in it and it was nowhere to be seen. nobody knows my phone's unlock code and i definitely haven't transferred it. I know this because my index is only showing one Dratini and 3 Dratini candy. After the last powerup I had about 6 candy left over and two Dratini, so it looks like it was all lost. AAAAARGH!@#$%^&*^%$!
Hi! Mine disappeared too. Two days after hatching a Kangaskhan, she disappeared from my Pokemon Storage. She's in my favorite list so it's impossible I butt-transferred her or traded her. I'm from APAC and she's a regional hatched from the friendship eggs so this one's a big deal for me. Have you found an answer regarding this issue? Can you please share? Thanks!
