Someone on our local PoGo public Facebook group said he finally saved up 480 coins today, but the boxes were gone.

If this is a surprise to you i highly recommend following popular PokémonGO based twitters. I personally love @PokeGOElite. They predicted the boxes would go away a few days ago. They even caught that the official PokemonGO twitter page tweeted that the sale boxes would be disappearing in Japanese and translated it and told all their followers in advance. Even the American official PokemonGO Twitter didn't even do this.
