necessity to save golden raz berry for mewtwo?

Now we get more potions but less golden raz berry from raid rewards. Is is necessary to save the golden ones for mewtwo? Thanks in advance.

Seems like it'd be wise to hold onto some. I'd say the best strategy is to save your goldens for mons you really want — ones with high IVs or ones that aren't in your dex yet. Or any Mewtwo since a mediocre one will likely still be a gym-slayer.

I was very cavalier with mons before the change, but I went from the 70s to the high-30s after the change. Now I'm more conservative.

That said, if you decide a legendary isn't worth a golden, it's probably still worth a pinap or a regular raspberry.

No, because you will get something like 50 balls.

Just because they got 50 balls in the event doesn't mean we will get 50 when Mewtwo releases worldwide. We'll have to wait and see for that.

i am holding on to mine, 3 5*raids today and 6 goldens
2 of the mons were trash IV's so used straight raz on them but even with that only broke even (15/14/14 zapdos) definitely saving for mewtwo. the raz nerf sucks more then the rare candy nerf.

I am def hoarding at this point. Did a moltres and lapras raid tonight for total 14 golden razz so up to 41 now. Vowed not to use any before mewtwo and I even caught both raid bosses tonight with normal razz. I'm really starting to think there's a lot more rng in catching bosses than catch multipliers.

I was saving, but I tried to catch a 2040 Lugia yesterday...I've had terrible luck securing Lugia (have 3 and last one I caught 1982). Back to saving them, I only have 10

I'm holding on 100 berries for Mewtwo. The rest I use for gym purposes. I have quit using them for legendaries and others a while ago.
