Advice for soloing Vaporeon
I tried it for the first time yesterday: close but no cigar. Here are my heavy hitters:
2664 Exeggutor BS/SoB
2457 Exeggutor E/SoB
2385 Exeggutor ZH/SoB
2258 Exeggutor C/SeB (51%)
2840 Zapdos CB/ZC
2456 Jolteon TS/TB
1879 Victreebel RL/LB (100% currently at level 29, but I'm working on maxing. I'm hoping he can make his way onto the team somehow.)
Other level 30 Jolteons
Other level 28+ Exeggutors
I tried with the top 6 above and I couldn't quite get over the hump. Vaporeon had Water Pulse. I only had time to make 2 attempts.
What would you suggest as far as order of attackers, who to power up, who to TM, dodging strategy, etc. Thanks in advance!

I've done one Vaporeon solo and failed one, maybe I can help.
My advice would be:
* Use TMs to get Bullet Seed / Solar Beam for all the Exeggutors
* Move Zapdos to the top (generally highest DPS first)
* The one time I did it, I had a Victreebel in my lineup - but make sure it has Razor Leaf/Solar Beam
In particular, Seed Bomb is a terrible move for offense. I'd nix the C/SeB for sure, or change his moves to BS/SoB. Otherwise, looks like with a fast enough connection you'll be good. If you have any Dragonites, those are great as backups against Vaporeon.
As far as dodging, my personal policy is "whenever it's convenient", but only for Hydro Pump. If you can get in an extra Solar Beam due to dodging Hydro Pump, that makes a big difference.
I completely disagree.
1: Bullet seed sucks. The psychic moves are better even without type advantage.
2: Leaf blade is arguably better than solarbeam. It does 70 damage in 3 bars, with a reasonable cooldown.
3: Seed Bomb might be preferred over Solarbeam, as you might get 8 seed bombs but only 2 solarbeams.
4: Are you mad to TM away Confusion???
Dude, 29.17 DPS for Leaf Blade vs. 26.19 DPS for Seed Bomb vs. 36.73 DPS for Solar Beam according to this site.
It really comes down to whether or not you can dodge the charge moves. If so, the higher DPS moves are better.
I see what you're saying about the psychic fast moves, but Bullet Seed has more EPS besides just type advantage, even compared to Confusion. That leads to more Solar Beams and therefore a higher average DPS.
Of the three charge moves Water Pluse is the easiest to beat and Aqua Tail is the hardest in my opinion.
The three star raid bosses got a buff. Originally I could beat Vaporeon at Level 34, with my fifth pokemon finishing the job.
IV's 82 plus
I used Exeggutor Con/SolarB Level 35.5
Exeggutor Con/SolarB Level 35.5
Jolteon Thundershock/bolt Level 35.5
Jolteon Thundershock/bolt Level 35.5
and 73 IV Exeggutor Bulletseed/SolarB Level 25
I never charged the solarbeam.
I am at Level 36 and powered the top 4 to 37.5 and could no longer beat a Vaporeon.
I had to change my number 5 to
Exeggutor E/SolarB Level 27
and on my second try I used a Gyarados a Level 37.5 with Bite to win at the last second.
You need power, quick moves that eat up hit points and luck to beat a Vaporeon.
Since getting a Zapdos (Level 20 )I am planning to try another Vaporeon, I think I am going to try it in the sixth spot. You need quick damage at the end and Zapdos gives you a super effective move to get those last hit points.
I would swap out the seedbomb Exeggutor, you need more damage from a charge move. In the fewest amount of uses, because you never know which one will be your last.
Not sure if my advice is worth it since I faced HP and that is going to completely be different than WP. But I'd drop the Seed Bomb eggy and try to get that Victreebel up. I found the Seed Bombers to be too slow from a damage perspective.
In action I took the first HPs to the face in order to more quickly charge the Solarbeams, usually could get 3 in before the second HP which wasted my guys at the perfect time. Then I closed with a Lv 30 Zapdos (TB). The Zapdos was much more tanky than I expected and did GREAT damage. You could/should probably lead with him. I might have had an easier time if I led with him, but I was afraid to mess with the timing of the SoB/HP rhythm.
