Help with my Mewtwo counters

So countering psychics has been my weakness for a long time and now king of the psychics is coming and I need some help. The picture is what I have as solid counters at the moment. My other options fall into the categories of high dps, low cp, or in need of a tm (or a combination of those). Here's what I have:

High dps:
Dragonite DT/O level
Moltres FS/O level 30
Zapdos CB/ZC level 30
Lots of eevolutions and Exeggutors at level 30+

Other potential projects:
Gyrados DT/O level 32.5
Houndoom FF/FB 51% level 30
Scizor FC/IH 98% level 21.5
Various Pinsirs at level 20
Gengar SC/DP 91% level 18.5

My other dilemma is that I have only one charged tm, 3 fast tms, and 60,000 stardust. Do i roll with what I have and save my resources? Try to power up my best and hope for a big enough raid group that it won't matter (a 50/50 proposition)? Pick a project? I need some advice!

Edit: forgot to add to my picture my Snorlax L/BS level 30

Why didn't you add your Tyranitars in the post? Either way your team sounds solid. You shouldn't feel the need to use resources to power up just for mewtwo. If you're in a group you will be a good asset and not responsible if the fight fails. I'd be happy to have you in my raid group.

I wouldn't do much more. I am scrambling for stardust and spending b/c I'm very close to having 5 Tyranitars above 3000, after that I have my 4th Dragonite at 2750. You have two Tyranitars, Houndoom, Scizor, etc. Your issue likely will be surviving, no stardust pour is going to have you last that much longer.

Since you are set with some birds, maybe practice starting with some glass cannons, leaving the battle and returning--see if your phone does it quick enough. The other option (for Shadowball Mewtwo is a big lick Snorlax). Psychocut/Focus Blast Mewtwo will include that Dragonite no matter what, maybe make notes--"use this for this". Mine is simple all Tyranitars except for Focus Blast---Dragonites. ***Some of the pros here can advise you if and when you might use that Gyarados (if you should bother to change it to Bite)

Also consider what helps you dodge Hyper beam, Shadowball, and Focus Blast---those are very obvious animations. Psychic is somewhat weak to resistant pokemon. Obvious issue: Confusion is deadly

You sound like the pro here, that was perfect advice. Just hope the OP has access to tyranitars and dragonites :)

Honestly, I think the only MewTwo counters worth investing in are TTars and Dragons. Mainly, because they will be useful in other aspects of the game.

If you have others then great, but not really worth investing a lot in since they will be falling in the "glass cannon" category. Is it really worth a large amount of dust/candy for a mon that lasts <10 seconds?

It might be worth rolling the dice on an evolution if you have a high level/decent iv Houndour, scyther, etc. But not worth bringing up low level versions.

If you have TMs to spare, Foul Play is a better move than Crunch. Need at least two though, so you don't get stuck on Fire Blast.

When i evolved him he was Fire fang/Fire Blast,I agree that i should try to get foul play

Like I have said in my posts, don't just show us your high CP mons. Use them to solo Alakazam raid boss and see how they perform. Only then you can truly know how they hold up during Mewtwo raid.

Probably a silly thought, but would Kingler with x-scissor be a decent glass cannon against mewtwo?

Theres never a silly thought... Kingler would do super effective damage against mewtwo and be more preferred than most mons. It all comes down to what you have.

Possibly, but it will not resist any of Mewtwo's moves. One strategy for raids can be to start with several glass cannons and attack as fast as possible, then back out and select some sturdier attackers and continue from there.
