Disappointed with new raid rewards
Just did three level 5 raids and was awarded 15 potions, 18 super potions, 10 revives, 4 rare candy, and 12 golden raspberry. I'm okay with TM's being extremely rare from raids but rare candy is a raid exclusive resource and they just made it more difficult to get. I just don't understand the resoning with this change. Potions can be acquired from pokestops. Even if the player wasn't able to catch the raid boss, at least they received rare candies, golden raspberries, and the chance of a TM. I just think it's a silly change and it makes me want to buy incubators instead of raid passes. I'm just curious to see what people thought about this new reward system?

I don't like it. I don't have issues on getting potions from pokestops. I wouldn't mind if potions were given and cut down on revives but not at the expense of other raid only items such as rare candies, golden berries and TMs.
This change was probably caused by more whiners from casuals that are too fucking lazy to hit pokestops for potions.
I did a level 5 raid today and while some people in my group got potions I got something like 5 revives, 8 golden razz and 9 rare candies. I'm totally fine with a haul like that — heck, I would have been fine with getting potions instead of revives. As long as I get reasonable amounts of rare candies on a regular basis I'm cool with the changes.
Just math in my head I added up if someone just did 1 tier 5 raid for 365 days (plus spin and catch bonus) they would get over 4mill xp. As a player in a bigger city I'm going to take what I can, but ridiculously unfair compared to smaller places. I too would get 9-15 rare candy and at least 1 TM per tier 5, but easy come easy go
I agree but why paying for pass to get rewards that you can get by just spinning pokestops?
I mean out of my last 6 legendary raids, I got 100+ revives, berries and candies and 0 TM. What's the point in getting revives and potions now?
If I could get at least 1 TM every 5 legendary raids, I'd be fine with that.
This morning at a Ttar: no potions, 10 revives, 8 rare candy, 6 golden razz, 2 CTM. That looks good to me.
One of the other guys got 0 TM's, 10 potions, 15 revives and 3 rare candies (he didn't mention berries). This looks bad.
But when taken together I think is pretty appropriate for a level 4. There were only 4 of us that participated and the other guys didn't mention their haul.
Just an opinion..... People are complaining about lack of stardust. Rare candies increase the supply of candies. so people demand no stardust. If stardust were to become paid for. People would have no need to catch pokemon which would absolutely destroy the game. To make up for this fact, and keep up sales of incubators and pokeballs, Candies must become rarer because people are immediately maxing out their legendaries with only catching about 10-20. Golden Razz have been stocked in my bag for some time now. Again people were wishing for potions but do not want to give anything up for them, gotta make a switch somewhere. In legendary raids i would use 8 Fast TMs in a week 10 received. At least they died down the revives it was the usual getting 25 in one raid:(
