You can still power mons to 40 with multiple devices.

Just thought I would point this out, here is my 98IV Dos at level 40 which will be well above any 100IV at 39.

Looking forward to seeing you getting banned

I see no real violation, get to level 40 and you should get something--this isn't much: getting the opportunity to spend a lot of stardust for no real reason. I know a few that hardly play once they got to 40.

I don't think so. Doesn't breach the ToS. I know plenty of people that did this. Not one got banned.

Completely breaches TOS. You have to login on multiple devices. TOS specifically states against this. Look it up.

I know people that have been banned for less. Moreover, it's a really simple thing for niantic to check on their end.
Use at your own risk. Good luck with your account in the future!

Don't think that multiple devices is against TOS. Otherwise we'd all be violating it by changing phones.

Not sure about multiple devices at the same time and in game manipulation though.

If you think you need to login to a charger, you have larger issues.

Doesn't say anything about multiple devices at different times or same time. But having multiple accounts is against the ToS and more people do that than the level 40 trick.

The difference is that email accounts are free and you can make as many pogo accounts as you want with no breadcrumbs for niantic to trace; given the anonymity of email accounts (*could maybe trace via IP, but that's another topic). However, logging into different devices at the same time flags their servers (you get locked out, cant spin stops, or catch, etc), so it's very obvious abuse of the TOS. What's worse is that if you do this "trick" to push a pokemon to l40 then you will have that evidence of the violation on your acct forever (or until transfer of said pokemon.)

The fact remains, that all niantic would have to do is a simple SQL query to expose every account with level 40 pokemon. Like I said, use at your own risk.

I get wanting to power up all your favorite/high IV pokemon to max level (40), trust me, I get it. I'm right there with you. I just don't see the risk/reward make enough sense to do it.

How many lvl 40 mons u gonna post with 1 mil+ dust? We get it, you bot. Congratz.

Don't know how to bot just catch about 120 pokemon a day and had extra dust from the old gym system. I was just trying to encourage people who don't have 100IVs but are very dedicated and want to really max their mons.

Just because he has over a million dust he's a botter? Man, y'all walking around with pitchforks? I had over a million dust at one point and so do a lot of people who are very selective on dust spending.

I guess it's not the first post with lvl 40 pokemon, and whitehat's point was that amount of dust still about the same after every power up.

Wow, a player who has 1+ million dust is a botter? How dumb are you? Don't be envy of people and don't do false accusations on other people. If you don't have 1+ million, there are only 3 reasons.

1) You are just plain lazy and doesn't walk around catching Pokemons everyday.
2) You are a spoofer yourself who spoofs just to catch a single high IV Pokemon everyday, hence you don't have enough dusts to power up that very high IV Pokemon.
3) You blindly powered up most of your Pokemons without checking their stats, IVs, CPs and their offensive/defensive output in gyms and raids without doing research.

Nice! I dunno about "well above", a 100% at level 39 is only 35 CP lower, which is 1% lower.

I always find it strange to see people so eager to power up to level 40. I feel like powering up to level 39 is already a vanity thing and is not useful at all. I kind of wish they can even set up to lower level so i can use my stardust to power up more legendaries.

You have had trouble leveling with the 8 different xp events? Not sure what you're complaining about.

Level 20 legendaries that just sit there are vanity, this mon I powered up will be used heavily.

Not wasting my time typing all the proof but, L39/40 vs L30 does about +7-10% more damage.

This is a considerable amount and is very... "useful".

I've only did it to few 100 IV mons because it's satisfying. Dragonite, Tyranitar, Golem and Machamp. What else do I do with dust?

I never came across a gym or raid and thought "only if I had powered up X mon I would have beat this gym or raid but I'm out of dust"

Can I do this as soon as I reach level 38? Log into three devices and push the mons directly from 38.5 to 40?
Or do I have to wait until I'm level 39?
