I got a 100% IV oddish. Which do you think would be a better option for evolution vileplume or bellosom?

Vileplume is slightly more useful in the current meta, but even then there are better grass options.

The "better grass options" are only better by 1-2%. Vileplume is the middle ground between Victreebel's glass cannon archetype and Venusaur's tankiness.

if you like to dodge go for RL LB Belossom, otherwise go for solarbeam ploom

If you're looking for an attacker then vileplume is the way to go. 202 atk vs 169 atk for bellosom. However, if you want to leave a cute poke in a gym then you don't get much cuter than bellosom.

Vileplume. Bellosom is just a dex entry.

Neither is particularly useful in the current game.

It sucks, because I recently hatched a 100% Oddish and I would have been ecstatic prior to the gym rework, but in the current game...

"Neither is very useful in the current game"
Did you know that Vileplume's DPS with RL/SoB as a grass attacker is very competitive with Venusaur and Victreebel, and even Exeggutor when attacking water/ground/rock types?

Yes, I did. I love Vileplume.

I said that "Neither is particularly useful" not "Neither is very useful." The game is about raids right now, and I'm not sure what water/ground/rock types are drawing crowds to raid them.

Please enlighten me.

Vileplume. No question.

Vileplume is a very overlooked grass attacker. It seems that few people know its attack stat is higher than Venusaur's.
I have one 80% IV RL/SoB at level 30, he is a bit faster than my same level, same moveset, same attack stat Venusaur, apart from a little less bulk.
Vileplume actually has slightly higher attack than Venusaur (202 vs 198), but slightly less bulk. Though he is nowhere as glassy as Victreebel.
