Scizor better for steel or bug?
Got a 91 Scizor that I wanted to power up. Mine has fury cutter and iron head. I can either use a fast tm for a fast steel move or a charge TM for a bug charge move. Is he better as a pure steel type or a pure bug type?

steel is se against rock, ice and fairy, why would you use dragonite against them? scizor is resistent to ice and fairy and neutral to rock, so is a much better steel attacker than dragonite, the problem is that steel is not a great offensive typing, since there aren't much fairy types around, and ice and rock can be countered by better pokes (Flareon\Vaporeon)
Excellent question. I was wondering the same myself, so I analyzed a bit. The answer is, at least for me, that I want the double bug moves Fury Cutter + X-
Scizor. Here is why:
That double bug moves is rated "Supreme" or "Good" by Game Press for five match-ups against current or prospective Raid Bosses: Exeggutor, Celeb, Alakazam, Mew and Mew Too.
Scizor's double steel move Bullet Punch + Iron Head is rated "Supreme" or "Good" by Game Press for only one match-up: Articuno.
So DragoniteSlayer is exactly right - double bug is more useful. Too bad for me that I have Scizor with double steel.
If it makes you feel better, my double-steel Scizor has 100% IVs!
It's at level-30. My double bug is S15/A12/D4 68.9%, and level 27. I could power it up once I get more candy, but I could also just TM my 100% one. (It started with Night Slash, so I've already spent one charged TM on it. I could do another, but it's tough since I could end up with NS again, and the steel move set is excellent in every regard except usefulness.)
