MewTwo nerfed, shiny model added to
...the game file. His new stats are:
Attack: 330 -> 300
Defense: 200 -> 182
Stamina: 212 -> 193
His shiny model has also been added.
Bellosom has also had the bug where it walks 1km/candy corrected and it's now back to three.

While I don't like the IDEA of a nerf, I think it was probably necessary to avoid Mewtwo being completely dominant. With the old stats you would basically want to spend everything you had on maxing out a squad of Mewtwos. It would be very boring. Make no mistake about it - even with this significant nerf, he will still be the best attacker in the game.
I don't mind him to be nerfed but it was really necessary? I mean, you can't put legendary in gyms, and on offense not much will change, everyone will want a maxed out Mewtwo and probably and army of him. What are they going to do with all posible good mon? Nerf them one by one? Slaking will have half of his stats just to not bother introducing abilities into the game? This seems a pretty random and stupid change, just my opinion, if you break the formula once why don't nerf other mon stats? Like Blissey HP? I don't know...
The thing that most bother me, even being a "stupid number" is why leave him just below 4k max CP? I would love to see one of my mon get to that number just for the fun of it...there is not much left in the game as today, a lot of my mon already seem like a trophy to show them to friends and other players and explain how I got them.
I still remember the days when having 10+ maxed out mon or when having a good defensive team meant something...Thanks Niantic to make useless almost all my efforts to be one of the bests of my area in the gym scenes.
The point of a challenge is that it tests your limits. It's not like a kind of practice. They should have sticked to their original stats.
The most likely reason they decreases Mewto his stats is to increase their revenues such that people will spend more money defeating and catching Mewto. Thats a pity and I'm surprised you came up with this answers in all honesty.
I hope this is because of some tuning to the translations of the basestats implementations from the main series. I really don't like the idea of targetted nerfs and buffs in pogo because they misrepresent how strong a pokemon was supposed to be. ( not that the current system is perfect, but I think you get what I'm trying to say)
