Correct me if I'm wrong. Most other sites don't take into account cast time of a move. Also thunderbolt does almost the same damage but is 2 bar meaning way better dodging, and less scenarios with wasted energy such as overkill. Zap cannon does a lot of damage but take a lot of time to charge and cast, thunder is a lot faster to cast but takes awhile to charge and does less damage. Thunderbolt does almost same damage with more perks, and literally no downsides. A clear winner of rank A move no?
Zapdos moveset grades
I asked this question on another thread, but I think it got buried.
I'm confused why this site rates TB as the only A move, while T and ZC both get B (with T listed first). If TB and ZC are comparable and depend on user play style/preference (as most seem to suggest), wouldn't they both be A moves and T be the only B? At least, I would think ZC would get an A-.
The moveset description says that TB edges out ZC (indicating they're close) and states that Thunder is the worst move.
Edit: I see GamePress has updated the Zapdos page to rate ZC an A-. Thanks!

TB has faster charge and cast time with lower chance of overkill(which wastes total charge) while ZC has higher damage it also does have longer charge and cast time which leaves you vulnerable to attacks while TB does less its less prone for overkill and you can dodge thus leading to "edging out" ZC in the ideal moveset meaning while ZC does more damage it also has fallbacks.
Let me ask the question a different way.
I've seen several folks here recommend using a charge TM on a Thunder Zapdos because the other two moves are a clear upgrade. Even the Zapdos page says that Thunder is the "worst charge option".
So why, then, are Thunder and ZC both rated B with a superficial nod to Thunder since it's listed above ZC in the list? I have one w/Thunder and, based solely on the list of ratings on the page, see no reason to TM it (based on my previous luck of being more likely to get ZC).
