Snorlax L/BS vs Z/BS

Have a 96% L/BS cp 3132- was thinking to fast tm to Z/BS ( have 31 fast tm). I know people don't care for gyms but I can't get myself to put pidgey etc in gyms like most around me have done. I'm team Instinct and we are minority by far so I prefer to make gyms hardest that I can at least. Are uses better to leave it with Lick for offense even though he never makes it into my lineup in any raid at all. Thanks all

I am still trying to make the same decision myself, so I will just wait for others to voice an opinion.
It was top of my TM list, when TMs came out - but for gym defense it is not as relevant anymore, so I haven't bothered yet.

Personally, I am leaning towards leaving it as Lick

Defence movesets are useless now, who cares if Snorlax has Lick or ZH. In fact, I'm considering changing ZH/BS to Lick.

If you have already fixed up all the fast moves for your attackers, go ahead. Sounds like you have plenty to spare anyways. If I had 31 Fast TMs, I'd probably go back and fix my Blissey's with Pound as well.

With Lick/BS, Snorlax can be a tanky generalist in gyms, and a tank backup for Lugia.
With ZH/BS, what will you use it for? Muks and Weezings? Rhydon is easier to obtain for those, does more damage, and double resists poison, so is more tanky than Snorlax in those match-ups.
Defence movesets are useless now.

I did it just because I always wanted the mighty ZH/BS, and I think the gym system has to change at some point.

With 190 Attack, it makes sense to me that a L/BS Snorly would make a great sweeper in the current gym system though (Lick's a really good move). Mine was too low lvl for that though.

Good for you, mate! My 100% Snorlax with ZH/BS is my favourite Pokemon. Every now and then I open the app and smile when I see him atop one of my local gyms I can see from home (yes, I'm weird).

I TMed two for the same reason.

May as well, as irrelevant as defenders are, Snorlax is less relevant in viable raid areas as an attacker.

Add to that, the common availability of fTMs in viable raid areas, and it's a fine move imo.

With 31 Fast TMs it seems like the downside is small. I did the same for my 2850 Snorlax.
