So for the longest time I've wanted a Snorlax attacker with Lick/Hyperbeam. I had been patiently waiting for a 15 Attack Snorlax. A couple of minutes ago, I hatched the fat boy that's on the left. He has the Hyperbeam move. Changing that fast move isn't a problem. It's just that he doesn't have 15 attack, like I wanted. Do I change the fast move anyways and make it a attacker or do I make it a defender, leave it as it? Etc
I do have another Snorlax, the one on the right. Again, it doesn't have 15 attack. Any reason to use a TM on this one? I'm leaning no. Thanks in advance!
FYI, I was lucky enough to catch the legacy Snorlax ZH/BS 79% IV which I leveled up to level 32.5. So I already have a Snorlax defender.
Into Lugia, Lick will reach max damage at:
level 32.5 with 15att stat
level 33.0 with 14att stat
level 33.5 with 13att stat
level 34.0 with 12att stat
level 35.0 with 11att stat
Just pointing that out bc you said you've been waiting for 15att. This also shows that at level 30, a Snorlax attacking with Lick into Lugia is NOT at an optimum performance level.
I just inputed the numbers in Poke Genie. So to get the Snorlax on the left (11 Attack) to the optimal level 35, I would need 137K dust and 130 candy. And to get the Snorlax on the right (14 attack) to the optimal level 33, I would need 109K dust and 98 candy. That's a difference of 28K dust and 32 candy. That's a lot.
