Why is ZAPDOS best moveset thunderbolt?

Seems it's the least do of all charge moves. Zapdos cannon gets worst grade, but highest dps

DPS isn't a reliable indicator of charge move quality, which is why we removed the DPS column from the charge move list.

Charge moves cost time to charge, and this time is not reflected in its calculated DPS.

its the opposite according to poke genie. dunno who to trust but id be happy with any of those moves. shit ill be happy to just get the mon. this mother fucker is not easy to catch

i like 2 bar charge moves best, less waste there, if a mon is about to faint and have half energy bar full you can use the charge move, if is a single bar that energy is going to waste.

Wholeheartedly agree. 2 bar charge moves usually take less time to execute so dodging is also alot easier.

That and Thunderbolt has better cycle damage.

I have 1841 cp zapados with zip cannon , it is very great that I fight 2854 cp gyarados gym and zip cannon reduced his health bar by 2/3 of his full health bar
I defeated him very easly
