Is everyone going to fall asleep after Zapados?

I will give this to Niantic they are doing a great job keeping everyone active by introducing the Legendary Birds one week at a time. But what happens after Zapados? I foresee a lot of inactivity. Main reason is the extreme difficulty of collecting Stardust. After two hours of grinding Pokemon and only being able to power your mon up once is going to become very very very dull. Second reason the gym system is also not competitive and the rewards aren't worth the potions. Raids are going to die out because everyone has spent their last dollar on Raid Passes for the Legendary Birds. If Niantic doesn't think of something fast there will be a dreadful drought in Pokemon go.

I'm going to be so active during the Zapdos raids. Anyways, I definitely think there SHOULD BE a nice big break until the next set of legendaries appears. Like you said, people have been active, they have spent they're money. It would be nice to take a break from all the legendaries. They could mix things up with the gyms. Maybe release Generation 3? I definitely don't want to see any more legendaries any time soon after Zapdos. You've been given more than enough legendaries for now.

Oh, and a part of me hopes they hold of Mewto until some time next year. Because the moment I get him, if I get him, there won't be anything for me to go after really...

Haha, yes. A break would be good. Rumours that it won't be very long, though. I would expect lugia to stay until the next big legendary Ho-ho is released in a couple of weeks.

Gen 3 before the next set of legendary (maybe the beasts?) would be brilliant for a gameplay change

I need a break. I cannot live like this anymore. I did Moltres 3 raids this morning in the freakin' rain! Running around like an animal. All this before 10 AM.

Rumor says hooh follows zapdos, I have some hope for that.

I also hope for a break. I need to build up my reserves - both in-game and mental. While fun, the raids and limited-time-only nature of the legendaries have stressed me out. I'd kind of enjoy at least a few weeks of the normal 1-4 raids and no pressure.

There are rumors about Ho-oh but maybe they could roll out new Raid bosses. In press release there were screens with Ninetales, Charmeleon and Blissey as Raid Bosses.

I don't think raiding Ninetails and Charmeleon will work for me in terms of replacing the legendary birds.

I just hope for a break. It´s quite tiresome to have these time limits to catch the most-wanted pokemons. If they continue right now a lot of people will get fed up, and when it´s back to normal a lot will fall asleep for a shorter or longer period.

Let's just get back to normal business with grinding and planning for the next release. Maybe someone will show up to Ttar raids again, since it´s really more valuable than these birds.

The main value of ttars now are for legendary raids. Without legendary birds, what do you need a strong ttar for?

The same reason I need anything in this game: because I want it.

Also, Mew and Mewtwo (double dark) and Entei (SE). And a good all-round generalist attacker.

If Niantic is smart they will change raid bosses after the legendaries. However, that will once again destroy all value Blissey/Dragonite might have had. I hope they will never introduce them as raid bosses.

Oh, they will. Everything you know and love... Everything you've held dear... It will all be made available... for just $1.

Dragonite was already shown in the prototype Raid pictures as a Raid boss, alongside Charmeleon and Ninetales.

My bet is that in the next rotation, Ninetales will be among the new T2 bosses, Charmeleon among the new T1 bosses, and Dragonite among the new T4 bosses.

I would personally like a few weeks off after the month of intense events before they do something else big!

I live in Europe. I did not bother with raids at all this weekend, instead happily hunting Unown and Kangashakan. For some of us, collecting monsters while having a nice, relaxed stroll is the important part of the game.

While the group raiders take a break, maybe they'll do something to bring back people who haven't had sufficiently large raid groups in the first place - so that those people have a shot at the new game content too.

Stardust and coins aren't a problem for players like me. I haven't found a good use for either in quite a while. They have to think of a better kind of activity to incentivize than driving (and/or sitting around) for hours, just to sit or stand by a gym for 10-30 minutes at a time.

Niatic always extends their events. My prediction is that they give us one more week with all 4 birds.
