is pokebattler missing a critical stat?
All the discussion on ho-oh has got me thinking that pokebattler and all the breakpoint spreadsheets seem to be missing a critical stat?
Some mons take damage (opponents attack) and convert that to their charge move faster than others. I have 1 SE golem that seems to get several SE charged in quick succession. This might just be a bug but does Higher IV on HP/stamina translate to energy conversion ability?
Please forgive my Ignorance on this basic game mechanic...
Appreciate any thoughts.

all mons take damage and convert it to energy. the rate is 2 hp of damage = 1 unit of energy. doesn't seem like much. You could argue that high hp/low def mons would do better in battle though, as the formula above would equate to more charge moves.
IV's are involved in the calculation, although being higher or lower IVs doesn't really matter as much as what level they are. Yea, the ceiling is higher for high IV mons, but usually negligible. People just want high IV mons for the novelty.
I'm sorry for your last comment that IVs don't matter. Unfortunately, I need to dispel this idea or people might continue to believe if. The idea "IVs don't matter" is carry over from earlier version of the game and anyone who has used poke battler knows that you can reach a breakpoint on attack as well as defense that does make a difference in raids. If you are not raiding it doesn't matter and you should ignore IVs.
If anyone doubts that IVs matter, consider this. A level 40 Dragonite with 0/0/0 will have CP 3142. A level 31.5 Dragonite with 15/15/15 will have CP 3147. So going from min to max IVs at the high end of the most common powerful mon is worth 8.5 levels.
That said, you don't have to have 15/15/15 to be useful, but going down just a little, like 12/12/12, is somewhere between 1.5 and 2.0 levels down, which has to be made up with stardust and candy, until you hit your level cap sooner.
