Should've used a Nanab (8 Excellent/Curved (out of 9 throws) on 100% IV Moltres

Again, even I think the Nanab thing is bunk, but at least most of us aren't throwing near 100% Excellents and having them run on us...('m now 5/5 with Nanab as 1st berry and got Lugia today).
I honestly just do my 1st as Nanab "just in case" now...
And NOT surprisingly, the level 40 is walking a Pidgeot...(seems to be a thing for Level 40+ people)...

Yeah, I agree too. The alternate nanap/golden razz trick is more to reduce the missed throws due to movement/attack risks. For those who are already accurate in hitting all their balls ( especially those who throw right after the attack ), this trick is not that useful.
PS, the one he missed is due to a double-attack, which goes to show that even with god-like throwing skills, it's not easy to land a hit within a double-attack.
Well...I know why yesterday I missed one then hitting 3 excellents in a row....This dude is insane, amazing skill!
I have to say that seeing that video makes me feel pretty mad towards Niantic and the game...With each update skills are less important, I would say non existant at this point, and when your skill as a players does not matter at all to the game's result then it is indeed a very bad designed game.
I have seen players that don't even know how to throw catching 2 perfect IV birds without even using a berry or curving, while others struggle again and again hitting great/excellent + golden berry. This should not be a thing, I know rng is rng, but when you see that many cases every single raid then something is defintely wrong. A level 40 player that I met last week lost a 100%IV Moltres, he did not hit as many excellents as the one on the video but I saw him getting 2 excellents and 8 greats + golden berry, not a single shot missed out of 10 balls, yet the bird escaped him...
Skill should be rewarded, not punished and I really hope this video arrives to Niantic soon and they make a decision,
I'm pretty sure the guy in the video got a great overall catch rate. He has awesome throwing skills and in the long run he will have a better catch rate than less skilled trainers. Just like in poker a newb can win a big pot because of "luck" but the pro poker player will take all his money at the end with skill.
See! The legendaries are captured based on pure luck. Period.
Yesterday, I traveled to the biggest city in my country and joined 2 Moltres raids. However, I couldn't catch any of them. On the first raid I tried the Nanab trick and failed miserably. On the last one, I even used Nanab and Gold Razz one after each other and also failed to catch the bird. Most of my throws were curved & great balls.
This week, I'm not going there to catch Zapdos. It's just a waste of time and money. -_-
I tried it over this Saturday, and I did catch 4 Moltres out of five. But I will admit, it could had just been in my head and due to better throws since I was more relaxed.
Now Friday, I did it my old way and was 1/3. Next weekend will likely try it again, I can't do any worst then the previous Saturday 0/7.
