Can only get 5/26 during the event. Nowhere near the gold medal

Yes. Unown medal does count number of different shapes caught, not total number of catches. After two days of hunting mine is 6/26 now (as I had the C already). By the way, can someone confirm that "P" is particularly rare in this event or was this just random chance for me?
