I was using a 3rd part app before to check IVs. And 4 hours ago I got shadowbanned. Can i still play raids or not? I already take down 2 gym from the time I got shadowbanned.

And yes, i will not use any 3rd part app anymore. Thanks.

If you can get a pass you should be able to. You will not be able to see rare pokemon spawns however.

Interesting. I don't know the answer, maybe you can report back after trying out one or several raids. I guess you can still participate in raids, but am curious to see if shadow ban has any effect on catching the raid bosses.

Can someone explain to me what a shadow ban is m? I also use Poke Genie to calculate the IV's. Could that get me banned? Thanks.

I don't think it can because it doesn't require you to login to your account or use Niantic's servers in any way. Usually apps that get you shadow banned are apps that need Niantic's servers to work

Yes you can! I was banned for more than a week since I realized I got shadowbanned and I caught all the legendary pokemons after I got banned.
