Raid with less people if possible to get more "damage" balls

I've noticed in large raid groups, you actually get less premier balls due to the damage being spread out between more raiders.

If a Boss has 100 HP and 10 people raid and each does 10 HP, then everyone would maybe get 1 bonus ball. Change it to 3 people and each does 33% damage and everyone should get +3 bonus premier balls. I don't know the damage needed, but my guess is something like 10% = +1 ball, 15% = +2 balls, 20% = +3 balls...

Anyone research this on SR?

Of course, you still need to win the raid, but for Moltres, every raid I've done, we've won so easily with near 200 secs left so everyone is sorta losing balls when the groups are so big.

Feels bad if people don't catch it either or if the last ball bug is real.

Moltres can probably be easily handled by 4-5 trainers with a few Lvl 30 or higher Golems...and a few Vapes, Tyranitars, etc...

Good for people who raid with the same crew to save on wait time/etc...

And organise by team too, if there is enough on each.

Of course, if you're doing it during work then you don't have the luxury of time and just jump into the public, but during weekends when you have time to coordinate it is indeed to spread out the groups.

For moltres I raided in a group of 4 and I sent in a group of 'rubbish' (gyarados, vapes) and deliberately let them all faint (there's no way 6 mon sustain the whole battle with 4 people), then let the autoselect get my golems and resumed, I still managed to get 3 balls for damage.

Whereas if I go into a 15+ lobby and use my golems in the beginning, I get like 1 ball for the damage bonus even if I don't go out and come back in.

It's not a thing

I can 4 or 5 man Moltres but it's just not worth the effort or the cost socially to exclude people or seperate into groups when there is a group of 8-12 people.

Totally agree...but I am not sure what this has to do with people thinking that the last ball will always fail to catch the boss mon.
