is this a robot, a real cheater or maybe a lucky real player ?
The last 2 hours 8 gyms are done in my neighborhood.
All replaced by the same player. As far as I can see, 8 gyms but probably more out of my radar. One every 10 minutes...
5 times a Dragonite 3453XP and 3 times a Snorlax 3235XP. These values are exactly the maximum 100% values for a level 36 player, powering up at 37.5 (dragonite = 3453.83 and snorlax = 3235.56).
Is it possible that a "normal" player level 36 has (minimum, probably more) 5 perfect 100% Dragonite and 3 perfect 100%Snorlax in his bag ???
I am level 32 and I am still looking for my first 100% in the Top10 pokes...
NOTE : I know most of the best players in my city (province). Same names are coming back all the time. This player appears here for the very first time...

Pfft don't you read comments? Apparently 100ivs are a dime a dozen for people on this site. 85iv snorlax? Trash. Wait for a better one noob. 80 lapras? Use as buddy, not worthy.
Funny there's a clear line between the players on here. Some have multiple top tier 100ivs and spend 0$ others spend 100s and have none. Yet new players take advice from the super players, but hey what do I know.
Agreed. The probability of a mon you catch in the wild having 100% IVs is (1/16) x (1/16) x (1/16) = 0.024%. That means that, more or less, you can expect 1 mon out of every 4,000 you catch to be perfect. Of course, this simple equation doesn't take into account that period when IVs weren't randomly distributed, nor does it take into account egg hatching (where the probability of perfection is more like 1/6 x 1/6 x 1/6 = 0.46%), but still...
I have a 100% Dragonite I got as a Dratini back when the pokedex-number-attack-IV bug was still around. I could imagine it being possible to have caught a few 100% Dratinis during that time if he lived near a Dratini nest (which used to be a thing also).
Getting multiple 100% Snorlax does seem a bit more questionable though.
IVs can be between 0 and 15 so there are 16 possible values for each
16 * 16 * 16 = 4096
so chances that a wild pokemon is perfect is 1:4096
For hatched eggs, the range is 10 to 15, and
6 * 6 * 6 = 216
So chances to hatch a perfect mon are 1:216 (and not 1:100)
I cought more than 8000 Pokemon and NEVER got one with perfect IVs (I don't check IVs of Pidgeys, Caterpies, Weedles and Rattatas so I might have caught one without noticing)
I also hatched more than 300 Pokemon and didn't hatch a perfect Mon either.
I generally roll areas, perhaps my son has a basketball game on the other side of town. His game gets over, we go out to eat and roll every gym we encounter along our way home, even though it's an area we never frequent or have ever been seen, or has a baseball tournament out of town and just "wreck" every gym we encounter. I despise cheaters, I have no problem with people exploiting imbalances of poor developers. Choose what games you play!
Cheating isn't always the answer of things that occur outside the box.
In my area there is a spot where retired guys just hang out all day and farm Dratini. I've seen level 32 players over there with multiple 100% IV Dragonite and Gyarados. Perhaps you can hang out by a gym in an open area to see if you can find this player. That may give a hint as to what is going on.
Well I guess having 5 100% Dragonite is somehow possible if he was farming all day dratini when there was the IV bug. 90%+ were very common and I know many players who have 1 perfect Dragonite. So i guess it was possible to get 5 if really dertermined and lucky.
But 3 perfect Snorlaxes... Common
This guy probably gets somewhere the GPS position of those perfect mons and teleport from his bedroom.
Have you ever considered the amount of Dratini and Snorlax's candy to power up his/her lucky caught/hatched 100%IV Dragonites and Snorlaxes?
- 192 candies to power up from lvl 20.5 to 37.5 (in case of perfect hatching).
- 124 candies to power up from lvl 30.5 to 37.5 (in case of perfect catching at level 30).
Hey! Level 36 here, and I find that very suspicious. I have similar numbers to you when it comes to perfect IVs. It's very possible that this person sniped high IV pokemon with map / gps spoof assists. It's less likely that this person kept an eye on a well running map of a city and drove to each perfect IV pokemon, and even less likely for this many to show up locally. With that many gyms being taken, were you not on any while they were attacking presumably from a fake location? I screenshot these instances and report for cheating.
I also find it very odd that you know most of the best players in an entire province. East I guess?
