Venusaur vs Vileplume vs Victreebel

I have a level 30 Vileplume and Venusaur. Both have Razor Leaf/Solarbeam, and 13 attack stat.
Can a Vileplume be a good grass attacker, and how does he compare to Venusaur?
Also, how does Victreebel compare to them?

Well, a Victreebel with Razor Leaf + Solar Beam might die before it uses Solar Beam, since Razor Leaf gives a lot of damage (or to say, free energy for the defending Vaporeon) while charging Solar Beam extremely slowly.

Victrebel is much the same as Vileplume, but Venusaur is a considerably better attacker of the three, thanks to higher max CP and it's tankiness.

TL;DR: in my opinion:
venusaur > victreebel (for dps) > vileplume

Stats (a/d/s):
Venusaur: 198/198/160
Vileplume: 202/170/150
Victreebel: 207/138/160

Venusaur has slightly less attack yet is bulkier than Vileplume and even more so than Victreebel

In terms of movesets:

Venusaur (fast): Vine Whip, Razor Leaf
Venusaur (charge): Solar Beam, Petal Blizzard, Sludge Bomb

Vileplume: (fast):Acid, Razor Leaf
Vileplume (charge): Solar Beam, Petal Blizzard, Moonblast

Victreebel (fast): Acid, Razor Leaf
Victreebel (charge): Solar Beam, Leaf Blade, Sludge Bomb

Venusaur's move pool downfall is a lack of acid but vine whip more than compensates due to it's high energy gain and short cool down

Vileplume's move pool downfall is a lack of sludge bomb, moonblast is "neat" but doesn't do anything for its type advantages

Victreebel's move pool is solid; Leaf blade is awesome because it's a 2.4s cool down, 3-bar charge, 70 base damage. It allows it go get a hit in and then dodge (kind of), which is helpful with its rather weak defense. As well, Razor Leaf generates energy relatively slowly but leaf blade doesn't care because of its low energy requirement

I prefer Venusaur due to its bulk and access to vine whip. I have solar beam but it can be a pain in raids because sometimes when i'm trying to get that last one off it takes forever (~3s into the animation) to fire off = higher exposure to attacks

Vileplume is cool; I wish it had access to sludge bomb instead of moonblast but whateva (it would be cool to have dual poison attacks)

Victreebel's defense is it's weak point. Thankfully leaf blade is it's saving grace, in my eyes, because I figure Victreebel won't last tooooo long and with such a low energy yield, it has an advantage (especially since RL charges super slowly)

I had Victreebel and Vileplume long before I got a Venusaur and I have to say I cannot stand the first 2. Some of it is quick move and some of it is their lack of bulk.

My 1900 cp Tangela has always been second in line behind my Venusaur. Not only does she have more bulk than the other 2 but she is a pure grass type, so she doesn't get hit hard by psychic or ground, which is big in a grass IMO. In addition to that, vine whip is just a superior quick move that allows dodging.

I've been trying to use these grass tanks more often. Exeggutor still excels above them all, but they have many more uses with the new dynamics. I have a 98 IV Bulbasaur I'm going to turn into a BEAST!

Is it worth using a fast TM on a RL/SoB Venusaur?

But it means I will have no more Venusaurs with RL/SoB.
Actually I have 1 more, but IVs ain't that good.
I also have a good IV VW/SoB one at level 20.
