They need to change de capture rate...

Moltres has been out for two days and I have battled it 8 times and caught it 1 time. The last moltres was 98 iv.... I'm getting really frustrated with this game, especially because I do most of the work. They need to change this, give a better change when you do most of the Work...

It is about 15-20% capture rate with golden razz, curved great throw, After 10 throws you have about 70-80% capture rate. Do you want it to be like 80% for every ball?

No. In fact I do not mind the catch rates at all.

I do wish balls were more exactly distrubted by performance from 3-12 depending on it. Right now someone that cannot really touch the legendary you are fighting for damage may have as many or nearly as many "chances" as you depending on silly stuff like what team earned a gym for them before the fight started.

Everyone would still have a chance but it would be better tied to trainer level and performance...something no one really has to do much of now and is yet another sorry aspect of this game and rewarding better players for being better.

That's fair, but I find only gym control completely silly factor, it mostly depends on teams distribution in current area.
Team contribution bonus forces you to collaborate with you colour. But yes, +3 is too much.
In general I like the idea to increase personal contribution factor.

Isn't personal contribution somewhat covered by "Damage"?.
Not "Team Damage" but the point above that.

"Somewhat" covered by getting 2 or 3 extra balls compared to the 3 balls folks get for team damage and gym control each?

I guess if you think that's fair it's covered. I kind of think getting more balls than someone who actually wins the fight for you due to stuff out of everyone's control isn't somewhat covered at all.

Yes, but for every one "serious player" or high level there are 20 low level casual players who would complain about the game rewarding higher level players for being high and getting rewards for that. Casuals voice will always be heard louder than the dedicated player as they are always fewer. I think that catch rate is maybe even to high... after all it is a legendary. Having 5 Moltres in my bag already makes it feel not that legendary.

Any game that doesn't reward players for achievements and being better players will wither and die. It's not an option and there is no incentive to invest or play at all eventually.

They're Legendaries. What do you expect? My record is 1 out of 7 Articuno raids, 1 out or 1 Lugia, 2 out of 4 Moltres. I believe I don't even have a decent catch rate but I'm finding it acceptable. It won't be fitting to call them Legendaries if they have a catch rate the same as Pidgeys. Use multipliers. Golden Razz + Curve Ball + Great or Excellent greatly increases catch rate not even taking into account the badges and critical catch.

To be honest, I'm really questioning if golden razz+curve+great even helps. I've thrown 6/9 balls excellent and have not caught it while a lvl 12 player next to me used nanab+straight+just a body hit and got it second ball

So far with all throws having great or excelent bonuses the legendary escaped all the time My only three catches out of roughly 15 raids I got with golden berry+curve ball+simple body hit.

I was 0/3 yesterday...2/2 today--both times today network error and app crash DURING battle. First one caught was a great 1858cp. 2nd one showed a terrible 1792cp while trying to catch it (with super lag), but after I landed it, really was an 1827cp. Either my phone, my city, and/or the whole game having super issues today

I was 3 of 6 with Articuna, 2 of 6 with Lucia, but now 3 of 3 with Moltres. It's just odds. Sorry for your bad luck, but they seem easy enough to me.
