I evolved a high level Omanyte I had been saving and got Water Gun / Ancient Power.
Is this worth using against Moltres or should I go with something else? I know you generally want double rock with Omastar and I don't really want to use any TMs on it.
Just trying to fill out my team with my best counters.
How big of groups already you getting when you raid. My raid groups are usually 15 or more people so it doesn't really matter what I use. A ttar, a couple of vaporeon and a rhydon are usually more than enough.
My point is, unless you are scraping by with the bare minimum players, don't waste your dust building up pokemon that are only useful for a specific task for a limited time.
Ttars with stone edge and golem with double rock I think would be best if trying to do it with a very small group.
I think you don't get the point of Omastar.
Don't stop at reading "Omastar is the supreme counter of Moltres". There's one more sentence: "Requires the legacy move Rock Throw to be optimal".
Yours doesn't have it. Or Rock Slide (Water Gun+Rock Side is close to Rock Throw+Rock Charge Move but still sub par). So what you get is just a tankier Golem but with far less DPS.
I know you can't get a rock quick move now. AP is the worst charge move currently available and I was wondering if it would be worth changing to Hydro Pump or Rock Blast or using how it is. Just curious about Ancient Power. Not really my point, though because I didn't want to use a TM on an Omastar anyway.
My raid groups are usually 10+, but I haven't had time to try for Moltres yet due to work and other commitments.
I'll probably just go with:
