Motivation loss rate

Before the recent update, defenders with more than 3000cp list motivation quicker than those with less than 3000cp.

It seems from this picture that the cut off point has just been moved, not eliminated. This is my local gym and both mons were put in there two hours ago. Full cp values are about 2400 for the vaporeon and 1320 for the rat.

Has anyone else seen this?

yeah apparently there was a "bug" for that they fixed so all pokemon regardless of cp loss the same motivation

Well, Niantic is pretending it is a bug now. When the gym change happened, it was originally announced as a feature that larger pokemon would lose motivation faster.

are you sure the Vaporeon didn't get attacked? or the Rat fed?

So to clarify now all pokemon no matter the cp lose motivation at the same rate? So I can start putting in my maxed Snorlax"s again?

You could put them in before if you wanted to intentionally be able to feed them for stardust or allow the gyms turn over easier so you could get your coins.

This is after 8 hours.

I'm aware of the 'bug'. It looks like it's been fixed by having the 3000cp limit lowered, not removed completely.

I don't think one has been attacked or the other one fed. This is me and my wife in our local gym in a fairly rural location late at night
If anyone was going to visit they would either add their own mons or kick ours out.
