Bubblestrat still work?

Heyo, i cant seem to kill my bubble horsea fast enough, maybe its bc its def iv is at 15 where my diglett atk is at 8... or am i supposed to dodge the initial attacks?

Also side question when it comes to battling against gyms, should i use the charge move? I feel like spamming quick moves is better... and can i still dodge while using the charged move?

My Diglett also sucks. They increased Horseas' def too much. Oddish also struggles.
But my ripper bellsproud kicks everyones' ass. So bubblestrat still works.

If you have a "mighty" charge move like solar beam etc. you should use it. But be sure that you don't have to encounter the defenders' charge move or play it save and use it after the enemys' charge move.
If you think that your quick move deals more damage and you are feeling more comfortable to dodge every attack, just use your quick move.

Bubble Strat still works, but maybe you need to change attackers or defenders. For me, it works with a 52-CP-crabby as defender and a 22-WP-Kadabra as attacker.

Depends.For Simsala i don't use charge-attack, for grasses with solarbeam, i use solar-beam.

and can i still dodge while using the charged move?

no. This is, why i try to use my charged move after dodging opponents charged move.

Thats right. Abra is also a good candidate for it. It gets his attack boosted by 85 if i am not mistaken.
Maybe a Sandshrew with mud shot can be useful, too. He has now 17 more attack than Diglett.
