Is alakazam worth a charge TM?

You'll get better information if you include things like what level it is and what you want to use it for. Personally I'd TM it and hope for the best... only reason I don't TM my Alakazams is because they have Dazzling Gleam as a legacy move and I don't know if I'd regret it :(

He is already at lvl 30 and 2466cp. I also have 3 more good iv alakazams at 29 to 30 and decent IVs.

Yeah I have 1 DG Alakazam. And I think if defence ever becomes relevant I am going to make him C/DG to be a defender.

If you don't have a C / FS Alakazam I would if the CP is high enough for the investment. I took down a Machamp solo with 1x Alakazam 91iv+att and could've have used another one in my squad. 1x Alakazam lvl 31+ takes down 1/3 of boss champs hp, so he is pretty beast with the right stats imo.

With shadow ball will be usefull vs Psuchic mewtwo.

Mewtwo resists both Zams fast moves; no use against mewtwo.

Confusion/shadow ball is 5 and 6th bs focus blast mewtwo in Time to win chart(the one that metters in raids).
And PC/sb one is 7th and 8th vs Psichic Mewtwo

You cant solo a Mewtwo, I'm guessing a mewtwo will generate more players/spoofers than a magikarp; more players.

Sure no solo, but you will want best damage with 6th mon surviving, right?

I don't but I know some people on this site would. The point is you could use it. Focus blast can make quick work of someone's dark army, so an Alakazam isn't a bad choice. Like I said, he is far from useless. You seem to struggle with definitions. There is much between "perfect" and "useless." Useful fits sb Alakazam.

I mean if you want to argue I will just argue that Dragonite is really the only raid Pokemon you need.

Imo since more or less everyone have more than 6 better mons than alakazam for raiding mewtwo, it is pretty much useless.

It is useful only in a scenario were several more or less semi-abundant pokemons do not exist.

Just go to a pinsir nest. catch 1 good pinsir and you are better off than with 1 zam.

Alakazam also resists both of mewtwo's fast moves and two of its four charge moves, only being super effective to shadow ball. That's not useless. Yes, the aforementioned ones are more likely applicable to the situation, but not everybody conveniently has X Tyranitars
/houndooms
/gengar's
/scizors
/pinsirs.

Alakazam is certainly applicable. Also crobat and gengar don't like the majority of mewtwo's moves

Gengar double resists fighting and normal two of mewtwo charge moves. Thats Why Gengar is higher ranked.

Im defining useless as in no real Use. Not that Its usless due to it beeing crap againsr mewtwo. This is due to Pinsir is easy to obtain, mass an army of as it is a regular occuring nest and outperforms zam in any matchup.

I wouldn't touch it. It will be perfect for focus blast Mewtwo.

I changed it and got Future Sight thank god. I've only used Charge TMs on a ttar w fire blast and a Dnite w hyper beam and both times I didn't get the move I wanted but could live w it. This one was more risky as I already have a PC&FB and C&FB and both have high IV.
