Hi fellows, please share some information about that thing (I only know that is a hack for the location), the risks and how common they really are.

It allows people to spoof their GPS location, and walk around in PoGo without actually walking in real life.
It also allows people to 'teleport' instantly from one location to another, but risks getting shadow banned (unable to see or catch rare Pokemon).
In my area 70-80% of players are spoofers.

don't do it mate!
you'll get so many rubberbanding, its will make you easily got ban/shadow ban/red slash!
But if you like, I prefer you buy a bot account. Even though you will get many red slash on its current account, but you get high level trainer!

there are way better games to play from your couch.

will admit though sometimes I have stood on the river bank looking forlornly at a stop on the other side .

Its AWESOME!

I played honestly until I reached level 33 then got burnt out.

Who cares what people say, you play the way you want to. It's the same advice an honest player would tell you anyways.

If you're smart about how you use it, none of your Pokemons will be slashed.

But aren't you going to tell me to play Pokemon Go the way I want to?

It's much easier to use Photoshop, GIMP or a similar program to assemble the mons you want from screenshots you find en masse on this site or elsewhere on the net. This shoooped mons can have CP values over 9.000 and have exactly the same value as mons caught with GPS spoofing (None).
